Waterdroplets by Ryn for Simply Create Too

I created some more cards for my debut at the Simply Create Too challenge blog. There is still time to link up! Besides, this challenge has an extra prize for children 12 years and under - so get your kids to play!

For this card I wanted a summer theme and I used the new drops by Ryn Tanaka for this card. The background is distress inks applied to an acrylic bloc and spritzed with water. I pressed the watercolor paper against it, waited for it to dry and then stamped over it with with a stamp by Rubber Stampede. The water drops stamps I added last, taking off some color from the drops and adding some white highlights.
I am also submitting this card to CASology - the challenge is BLOOM an to Simon Says - Flower Power

--X--

And here is another card - a spring theme. The tulips are by Hero Arts. I did not submit that for the blog post, so this is extra.....

I am trying to convince Ryn to design an icicle stamp - that would be cool!

I love those drops, I came over from Simply Create too to find out how they were made, as I wasn't sure they were stamped, it could also be some kind of glass that you glued on!

Hmm blogger and wordpress are no friends, I'm having trouble posting this, so if I am actually posting it twice (or 3, 4, 5 times)... just delete the duplicate entries!

Hey Cornelia, I did miss this post. Thanks so much for taking a moment to send it to me :)I have thought of icicles/ice... Been scratching my head trying to figure out how to render it properly. lol, you are going to push me to become a 3D master after solving all of these design challenges ;) It's really good for me as an artist. So glad to see you enjoying the stamps and SO inspired by how you've interpreted them. Beautiful cards!!!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fiftee...
