 Hi Everyone, This week it's about Mother's Day or Spring on the Topflight blog.  I first stamped the flower. Stamped the bottles with masking the first one and the big bubble and then stamping the second impression again after I took the mask off, to get a lighter impression behind the glass. Colored everything with water colors. Heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it around the card base and taped it to the back. I hope you liked this.  Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we are celebrating fall or Halloween, but it had to be Halloween for me! I used a stamp set designed by Melina Dahl for That's Crafty . I created the background with a Paper Artsy stencil. I love those blender brushes - they work like a charm. Added the spiders. Stamped the skull on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out. Colored it a bit with the left over color on the blender brush and markers. Attached it to the card. I hope you liked this.        Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  this week we are featuring Mothers Day or spring cards. I made a card for my mother in law. I hope she will like it! I used this beautiful Grunge Flower from Melina Dahl. Unfortunately it's out of stock right now, but I liked to a similar one at the bottom of this post. I stamped it twice with a little bit of masking and water colored around it to get that negative effect. In the end I thought it's a bit bland, so I added some grey to the flowers. Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day. For today's post I picked this wonderful stamp  ( Grunge Flowers  - 3) designed by Melina Dahl for That's Crafty.                      I made the background with my gel plate. I stamped the flower and colored it with water brush pens. I trimmed the background paper, stamped the sentiment.   This was super easy! I love the gel plate - you can create lots of backgrounds in little time. It's a lot of fun and you always have some backgrounds available when you need them. I hope you liked this! Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we are featuring That's Crafty stamps. I choose a set by Magda Polakow . She designs the sweetest stamps! And last year I was lucky enough to meet her in person in New York City! What fun! I masked off a strip on my card base and sponged with various shades of ink. I made myself masks for the "landscape". The bear and tree stump I had stamped on a piece of scrap paper and fuzzy cut it, but I could have stamped it directly onto the card (why didn't I????). Colored with markers. I stamped the clouds and tree and treated them first with bleach and then colored them in. Added Stickles to the clouds. I hope you liked this!
