Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, I will be guest designing all month at  Challenge up your Life . How fun is that!!!!! Although I must say this time it was a real challenge for me.  There is an inspiration picture to stimulate your creative juices! Now I am not much of a vintage person.....but I got around it..... I took the colors and focused on the first full book on the right - the one with the funky cat on it. Well, that's the nice thing about a picture - you pick out, whatever you like. Those cute little monsters are from Flonz Craft - an Australian company with exceptionally wallet friendly prizes and cool products! I bought them a long time ago and they needed some love.... I stamped them onto paint chips and added liquid enamel for the eyes. Punched the squares and mounted them with foam tape.  The sentiment is by YNS. Hi Everyone, I had some serious fun making this card: Inked up glossy card stock with distress inks, Blowed some ink around and added those cute little monsters from  Flonz and this funny sentiment by Lil Inkers - Fineprint. You really gotta read this carefully :) Also added some splatters as you can see. Reminds me about Halloween - my favorite holiday! Some time ahs passed and I have gotten two new members - time to greet them officially on my blog: Welcome Sarah Grey from Funky Fossils Designs  (fabulous blog - check it out if you don't know it yet!) and Nancy -  for whom I unfortunately could not find a link...but I will happily add one, if you let me know! As customary my ladies, you'll get a welcome picture - fitting my card somewhat: I hope you like it. I mostly stick with art and in a way this is as well - it is a sculpture made out of food cans - I photographed it a few years back at one of the CANstraction events that are held every year in NYC (and in many other cities) before Thanksgiving.
