Inkspirational challenge - Warm and Fuzzy Cat

Hi Everybody, I had to paly along with the current Inkspirational challenge (see inspiration picture below). Besides that I was itching to ink up my new stamp purchase - those Snarky Christmas Cats from Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous). I used a polaroid embossing folder, that I inked up with a brayer, but then I didn't like the outside of it, so I just cut it away. I colored the cat with Inktense pencils. Those photo corners are an ancient punch from Martha Stewart. Instaed of teh tree in the picture I made a green background and took the color clues from the picture. Halloween with Funky Fossil Designs

Hi Everyone, I had the pleasure to play with one of my Funky Fossil Designs stencils. This one is called  Crooked Webs It makes some real quick Halloween cards. I took black card stock as my base and sprayed with Mr.Huey. After it was dry I punched out three spiders (ancient Martha Stewart punch) in various shades of grey and added Washi tape. The spiders got some glitzy eyes. See you next week with more inspiration! Happy stenciling! Linking up with:

Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps with Rinea Foil Papers - Take 2

Hi Everybody, Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps is collaborating with  Rinea Foiled papers  this month. The papers are great quality and not at all flimsy. They are quite fun to create with! Since this month we are promoting St. Patrick's Day stamps (they are 30% off this month) I thought I make a card for the occasion. I dry embossed one of those lovely papers and punched out a few shamrocks. I also stamped a few small shamrocks and added the heat embossed sentiment - I mounted that with foam tape. I hope your day will be a blessed one! Our current promotions: Linking up with:

Twofer Card Challenge #9

Hi Everyone, its time to play along with the current  Twofer challenge . I almost didn't make it. I am going on vacation in two days and had to make a load of DT cards, but I had to squeeze this one in... The theme is LEAVES. My first card: Made a birthday card with a Brusho background and that pretty leave die facing outwards. The sentiment is by Avery Elle. No idea by whom the die is.   My second card: Went with Halloween, what else would be a good option right now? Had the leaves facing inward. Used rainbow paper as background  - a real time saver. Added some stamps (Teresa Collins, We R Memory Keepers) and a rat punch border (Martha Stewart) This challenge just makes me happy! Happy Twofing! Spooky Hollow Tree

Hi Everyone, I simply love Halloween and my Spooky Hollow tree die from Memory Box was begging me to be used..... I die cut the tree, sponged my background and added the two ghosts (unknown company) and the pumpkins (Michaels $1 stamp). Added some white Sharpie accents and the bats (Martha Stewart punch). This sounds quicker than it was putting it all together, but I an so happy with the result! I did not think it needed a sentiment - it's obviously a Halloween card.... Hey Pumpkin

Hi everyone, I am sorry for my second post today, but I really wanted to link up my card with the Stampin' Royalty challenge and that link expires in a few hours.... They have such a cute Halloween inspiration picture, I couldn't resist.....you can see it below. My card is super simple - the hands are a die cut and the pumpkin is a punch, which I water colored. Added black splatters and the sentiment (NBUS Recollections stamp set from last year...) I got my inspiration for this card from my recent visit to the NY Botanic Garden, where they have such a fabulous Halloween display:  Love it - perhaps next year I'll make my own for my front yard... So Suzy - Frightful things

Hi Everyone,  Halloween is coming up and what So Suzy stamps has an amazing selection of spooky stamps: for this card I used the frightful-things  sentiment I first stamped it in white pigment ink  and then heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.  I die cut the eyes into the black card stock, drew in the pupils and added various Washi tapes as well as two punched out spiders.  Are you spooked??? I sure hope so!
