Woodblock Wednesday - Hip Hippo Ray

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! For this card I used those fun hippos from Rubber soul. Sponged the background in rainbow colors after I masked off a strip. Stamped the hippos. Colored the eyes, ears and noses with white paint. Added black splatters and two black enamel dots. As so often it is a simple one layer card.
