Stempel Spass

 Hi Everyone, I discovered a new challenge , created by the talented Emily  Leiphart. Of course I couldn't resist! A while go I bought this awesome stamp from YiXuan Scrapbooking and was just waiting for an occasion to ink it up! And I am quite happy with the result! It was a bit of work to cut it out....Added lots of colorful splatters to the background and colored the stamp with alcohol ink markers. I heat embossed the "sentiment" in gold. I popped up the dragon with foam tape. I hope you liked this.    Hi Everyone, This week it's all about New Beginnings at the  Topflight blog .  I smooshed the background with distress inks. Stamped the flower onto it. Stamped it again on scrap paper and colored it. Cut it out.Doodled a frame around the smooshed area. Added the flower with foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum and attached it.  Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we are celebrating the New Year! Happy New Year to all of you! Hopefully 2022 will be a better year.....For this card I used Visible Image stamps. I combined it with a  sentiment from Heffy  Doodle .  First I made the background using a Studio Light stencil (see below). Stamped the wine glasses. Added the splashes and splatters. Added generous Crystal Lacquer to the glasses (unfortunately this does not show well in the pictures).  The sentiment is heat embossed in silver. Added some silver glitter paper under the sentiment.        Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. It's the end of 2020 and aren't we all happy it's over? Let's just hope for a better 2021. With the vaccine soon being available to the most vulnerable part of the population and hopefully within a few month to everyone else it seems like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel...... You probably know by now, that I am totally in love with those  cool glass bottles  from Darkroom Door. I made a card with it last week and the week before, you can see them  HERE ,  HERE  and HERE .  I made this the usual way I make my cards - stamped and colored with Inktense, markers and water brush pens. Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps  has a lot of Minion stamps and they are perfect for all year round to use - even for the New Year! The stamps I used: Minion Carl being happy Dot splatter pointy stars 2020 custom   I colored the Minion stamp with markers and water brush pens. Added the 2020 and the dot splatters.   Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we focus on New Year cards.  Lets just hope  2021 will be better than 2020.... I started out with one page from the  Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad  for the background. I used  Blender Brushes  to create the ombre gradient. I stamped the little Zini on scrap paper twice and colored it with markers. I made it a bit taller than it is in real life. Fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment on another piece of scrap paper and used it to cover up the  "defect" in my Zini. Added the gemstones. I hope you liked this! Hi Everyone, It's Topflight Stamps day! You didn't think I am going to ignore the Chinese Lunar year, did you? Not if it celebrates the RAT! I am just waiting for excuses to play with my favorite Katzelkraft rat stamps, LOL! Since I needed to fit 4 of them onto my card I went with the A10 format. I also did not want to overcrowd them - they can become a bit territorial, you know... I stamped them and masked them and sprayed the background. Colored them (Inktense). The numbers are die cuts (Papertrey). The rat info I got of the internet and printed it from my Computer. Here is it enlarged - it's otherwise a bit hard to read.
