ARTPlorations Stencil Hop

Hi Everyone, we have another b log hop at STAMPlorations - this one is all about the new stencils, designed by Sanna Lippert. I just love them all. But you know that stencils are just my thing.... I am showcasing two of them: The first one are those little trees - so perfect for Christmas. But if you put them sideways, they look like arrows, so lots of options to play around with them. Since I never have too many Christmas cards I used them as trees.... I used embossing paste, mixed with a bit of red ink and gold. The parcel (from the set  Joyful ) I stamped and heat embossed onto metallic paper and colored it with Copics and added Stickles for extra Sparkle. The sentiment is from  Christmas Reindeer . I stenciled twice - fist in black and them I moved the stencil a smidgen and used gold embossing paste. It almost give you a 3D effect - looks like the gold is floating. I die cut the  Holiday word die  in gold and black. Glued them together with a little

Chill with So Suzy

Hi Everyone, So Suzy is going on a Christmas break and this is the last post for this So Suzy year.  My So Suzy supplies: Snowman Joy,   Chill I also used an embossing folder and a die. I first die cut the circle and stamped the snowman on it. Colored it with Stabilo markers - they are water soluble and they reactivate with water. I added distress Stickles at the bottom.  I embossed the white card stock and then ran it through my Big Shot to cut it.... You better do that the other way around, 'cause the Big Shot flattens the embossing....But I simply lined it up with the folder and embossed it again.    You should also stamp the sentiment first and not last....That is my usual haphazard way of making cards. But in the end, it usually works out somehow.... .....as you can see. I used foam tape to attach the circle. Now go and chill, before all Holiday madness starts! Happy Stamping! Not in the Moooood

Hi Everyone, I got inspired by a T-shirt I saw on Pinterest and I immediately thought of Cecil the Cow from Stampotique. I figured it would make a fun card. Cecil is super cool - he also has a couple of "brothers and sisters" - you can see them HERE I stamped Cecil, colored him and sprinkled Brushos around him, after I masked him to prevent the Brushos to take over.  Spritzed with water and let it dry. Stamped the alpha stamps onto strips of paper and added them to the dried card.  One strip of striped PP on the left and a black stripe on the right, to balance things out. What are you in the moooood for? Happy Stamping! Stampotique - Sparkly Gems

Hi Everyone, I made this card using the pretty gems from the Stampotique November release - they are on the Treasure Cube  . I first heat embossed the gems in gold. Then I used Color Burst for my background and move the colors around a bit with a paint brush. Added embossed gold splatters - for that you splatter water on your card and add embossing powder. Heat it up until it melts. Easy. I heat form the back, so the powder doesn't fly away. The sentiment I gold embossed as well. It's from Quotes 1 . Love all those sentiments on there... I hope you are keeping your sparkle!!!! Linking up with: Crafty Catz - Anything goes Color Crazy Challenge -  Anything goes Craft Stamper TIMI -   Anything goes
