So Suzy - Win Your Battles

Hi Everyone, I have been playing with those little spray stamps from So Suzy again - I think they are just so versatile. I also wanted to try my brand new Nuvo drops (a friend gave them to me as a Christmas gift and its about time to use them....) By the way, So Suzy also has a great selection of them at a great prize! My stamps: mini Spray,   Spray,   Win Your Battles I don't really think this requires a tutorial, but nonetheless I took some pictures during the process: Stamped the sprays randomly on a piece of grey card stock and added Nuvo drops. I was not so happy with the white so I grabbed my ancient bottle of liquid enamel and added that. Liked it better. I added Wink of Stella to the center of the bigger sprays. And added the sentiment with foam tape. Linking up with: QKR Stampede - anything goes Alphabet Challenge - Y= you choose

Stamp Connection #22

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our twentysecond transatlantic get-together!  And to make it even better Wiebke from KomMa Designed is going to join us! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Valentine's Day I pulled out my  Memory Box die that I have not used in a long time. Foiled the edges of the butterfly and mounted it onto hot pink card stock. Added a little strip of PP on top and have some hot pink peeking out at the bottom. The love die is from Cutplorations  I die cut it twice - once with dark grey and once with pink fun foam. Lets check out   Tanja's  and Wiebke's  cards! Birthday Stripes

Hi Everyone, just a quick post - its gorgeous outside, so I don't want to spend a lot of time on the computer.... I made this card for the Ellen Hudson Pin-sights challenge : The theme is aqua - see the mood board below. I like those ice-cream cones - so two Mondo Hydrangeas from my brand new EH set and the wire basked is mimicked by those black stripes - an IO background stamp. Its very hard to get a good impression of this, even with my Misti I did not manage to get really black stripes. I would have preferred PP, but I did not have the right one....The die cut sentiment is by SSS So now I am enjoying that premature spring day we are having - funny, yesterday I was ice skating in Bryant Park....
