 Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I decided to make another card with that little home furnishing catalog I got in the mail. The first one I made you can see HERE . It's actually a lot of fun to do - choosing the animals and fitting them into that environment. I chose one of the dogs and the monkey from the Jungles set. I colored them with Copics and fuzzy cut them.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am playing along with the Artpoetry challenge over at Instagram. This week its about ephemeral poetry. I have been really enjoying this challenge so far! See the picture below that inspired me to make this card. I used a page form the  Chalkboard Papers  pad for my background. I stamped the hippo and fuzzy cut him. Added a "skirt" that I made from a flower die. Stamped the sentiment and added it. Trimmed my card base and added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom.     Hi Everyone, I am playing along with the Instagram Artpoetry challenge. this week is about shopfronts. I choose THIS by Rob Bentley. I liked the surrealistic feel of it and I thought I just have the right kind of stamps to get the feel across.  the background stamp and birds are by Lost Coast Designs , the claw is from 100 Proof Press and the sentiment is Dyan Reaveley (Dylusions). I heat embossed the background. The rest I stamped and fuzzy cut. I smudged the card edges with Versamark and did some more heat embossing. Also sponged a bit on the upper and side part of the card in white, gives it more depth, but does not really come out in the picture. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping!          Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Making  more Christmas cards - trying to get into the Christmas spirit, LOL! I stamped the angel and the bottle. I colored them with water brush pens and markers.  Stamped the sentiment . Cut it out. Added Washi tape at the bottom and cut out the bottle. Stamped a sentiment (Flora and Fauna) into the bottle. Glued on the cut out sentiment and added Stickles to the halo and wings.  Hi Everyone, I was having fun with an embossing folder I bought a long time ago and so far have not used. Besides that I needed to use those two dies again - there can't be a year without them. I actually intended to play in the Christmas Kickstart challenge with my first card, but then I discovered that it requires stamping, oh well. Plenty of other challenges around to throw in this card. I could have added a sentiment, but I didn't want to. Clearly not necessary. The embossing folder is from Mundart Stempel - a Swiss company. The fun Santa and reindeer are from Dixi Crafts. I inked up the embossing folder with a brayer and ran it through my Big Shot. My blogging friend Coni from Which Craft?   reminded me about his technique. Its fun and works like a charm. I stamped the penguin, masked it and used an oval die for a stencil. Added the die cut mistletoe and the sentiment (Dylusions stamp). Put some Washi tape at the bottom. I also added Stickles and Perfect Pearls to the mistletoe. Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I wanted to play along with the Snarky Stampers challenge - the theme is cat. And Katzelkraft has a lot of suitable cats for that! I settled on Big Cat #5  (SOLO076) and found a matching sentiment (Dylusions) for her. I colored her with water brush pens and added some splatters. Put some striped paper at the bottom to ground my little scene. Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! I started out gessoing an old book page. Let it dry. I stamped the  Hilarious donkey from the Farm Animal set  on the page. I colored everything with Inktense and added a snarky sentiment from Dylusions.  I tore the page and glued it onto Kraft card stock. I added some Washi tape. Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! I used the Yoga Monkey from the Farm Animal set  for this card. I masked him and stamped the macaroons from the set Five O'Clock on the left. I stamped the extra  macaroon on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out.  I colored everything with Inktense and added a snarky sentiment from Dylusions  (Laugh till you leak).
