Stamp Connection #54

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our 54th transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: CAS Christmas This was of course super easy to make. I took this glitzi Washi tape and dded the die cuts (Whittle dies from Poppy Stamps) I only agonized a little bit about how to place the deer and  a lot more about what sentiment to use and how to place it......funny, how things go. But I am probably not the only one agonizing about those things. I am pretty sure you all go through this process at least every once in a while.... Here is a slightly different view. It glitters really nicely! and I just love those slightly bedraggled looking deer! Lets check out   Tanj...

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 53rd transatlantic get-together! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: Halloween I decided to go with CAS and one layer. After all it's still my favorite thing do do. I took a new set by Hero Arts that I had treated myself to and lined up those cute bottles with a bit of masking. Colored them in a rainbowy color scheme and added a bit of twine. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Interactive Birthday Card I used the slider surprise die from MFT, which makes things real easy, although you could just make the whole thing with a rectangular die and a score board. The cute otters are also form MFT - the set is called otterly love. I had it forever in my stash until now NBUS, for no good reason. I used a Memory Box stencil to create the water and patterned paper for the rest of the card.  So cute! I have a lot of ideas of what to do next with this die - you'll see more of it, I promise! Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stampi...

This time it was my turn to pick the requirements:  Stripes And as you see I put stripes everywhere. I love that little Zebra from A Capella stamps - a gift from my Instagram friend Daniela from Dani's Stempelschublade This was super easy - stamped the Zebra, added the sentiment, some Washi tape and enamel dots, trimmed the card stock and added stripes of patterned paper at the top and bottom.  Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: no card, no tag Now you can admire it from all directions ;) I took one of those little framed canvasses and stamped the adorable kittie on it. The other stamps are from Basik&Co - ancient stamps. But the kittie needed some friends..... You see that the bird and the mouse are hiding on the sidelines - they don't want to end up like those fish, LOL For coloring I used anything I had on hand - mixed media, if you will. I sprayed it with varnish - hopefully the colors won't come off. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up w...

This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: unicorn and rainbow I first thought I have no unicorns and then I remembered, that in fact I do have one, a real fun one from AALL&Create. Time to make it see the light of the day! I stamped it and sponged the background with pencil dust (Memory Box stencil). Used an erase, where it interfered with the unicorn. Colored the unicorn. Added the sentiment and some Washi tape as well as a left over strip of sprayed  paper. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 47th transatlantic get-together! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: Easter card with embossing folder and die cuts Awhile back I bought some goodies by Alexandra Renke, which you nowadays can thankfully get in the US and I really wanted to use them. The gorgeous dotted embossing folder has a star in the center, but its covered up by the egg, so it works for Easter as well.  I swiped an inkpad lightly over the embossed dots, as I wanted a bit more contrast. The bunnies are also by Alexandra Renke. The egg is a Lifestyle Crafts die. The little blue strip is a snippet from an alcohol ink background. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! ...

This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: "Almost Spring and Colored Pencils"    This challenge turned some of my hairs grey.... I was at a total loss of what to do. I finally settled on combining those funky chicken (Sparkle N Sprinkle) with a snowman (Paper Smooches).  The sentiment gave me another headache. I combine d a German (" Timo & Jens" von Dani Peuss) with on from Concord&9th. Added the stitched  border (Cutplorations) and Washi tape. Oh - I colored with Inktense pencils - my favorites! I know I have made better cards. Oh well. It is what it is. At least it's funny, right? Le...

This time I picked the requirements: "Something new - but purchased a long time ago" otherwise  called ancient NBUS... I have soooooo many unused stamps, it's downright embarrassing...those birds I think I bought on my very first stamp convention I went to - I think they are from Sparkle N Sprinkle, if I remember correctly. I don't think they still carry them. Finally inked up. There is nothing better than a good challenge.... even if it is my own. The road is Washi tape and the sentiment is by Rubbernecker. Colored with Inktense, what else...? Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up wi...
