Celebrate!

Hi Everyone, I have to celebrate with the Paper Players - it's their 300 challenge - what a milestone! Congratulations, Paper Players - quite an accomplishment! And they are still as popular as ever! I am looking forward to the next 300 challenges! Here is my card: I took my brand new Waffle Flower set and stamped the little monkey on watercolor paper and colored her with water colors. Stamped the bananas and masked them and sponged the background. Added the sentiment - Neat&Tangled and enamel dots. The monkey is mounted with foam tape and fuzzy cut. I thought she looks more like a party girl if I give her googly eyes... Almost forgot - added some splatters. Linking up with: The Paper Players Waffle Flower CAS(E) this Sketch Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Sandie!

Hi Everyone, I made a birthday card for Sandie Munro from London Days - she is celebrating half a century of being on this planet - now that is one good reason to make a card! Happy Birthday Sandie!  To the next 50 years, woot, woot! Since Sandie is best friends with Kylie (who has a linky party going on her blog) I pulled out my HLS sets for this card - I just love that little ellie! Had some trouble with the color purple - not really present in my stash...did the best I could....added splatters and some Washi tape. I wish I could send that to you - you just have to enjoy it virtually;) - your card will hit the mailbox tomorrow... Mix it up with the Muse

Hi Everyone,  I have to get a card into the Ellen Hudson Mix it up challenge , before Mr. Linky closes.... I have been procrastinating over this challenge the entire time - had no clue what to make, but then I saw Anita's card over at the Muse challenge and it clicked! Here is Anita's ah-mazing card : I used my Ellen Hutson stamps to make this card - kept it one layer, since I love to do that and added Pretty Pink Posh sequins and some splatters. I am also linking up with: The Paper Players - went with those pretty colors Happy Pi Day!

Faux Textured Metal Paper

Hi Everyone, this has to be quick - i should be in bed right now....but I saw this fabulous video from Jennifer McGuire and I had to try this and I also didn't want to miss the deadline for the Paper Players.... So here  is my card: I did what Jennifer explained so well and used my brand new WRMK embossing folder. Inked with distress inks and Perfect Pearls. The sentiment and die cut are by Simon Says. Doesn't it look fabulous?!!! Well. its all due to Jennifer!  Linking up with: The Paper Players  - square card Colour me...!!!!  - see below CASometry  - shining Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Becca!

Hi Everyone, I made that card for Becca - The Damsel of Distressed - I am sure you know her blog - if not you may want to visit her - I promise you won't be disappointed! Becca is fun, full of energy and has her won fabulous style! Now she is celebrating her birthday and she has a mood board - if you want to join in . She also raffles of 7 prizes, woot, woot! I guess its easy to see what inspired me on her mood board! Used that bird from Unity stamps, a stencil frorm Prima and the rest (glasses and sentiment) is by Paper Smooches. I double die cut the glasses and mounted them with a tiny piece of foam tape to give them more dimension. Added reflections to the eyes and colored that little heart in red. Addicted to Stamps and More #148

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two weeks our theme is Holiday - just perfect, with Father's Day on the horizon......but you may choose any other holiday! Our wonderful sponsor for  this  challenge is Stitchy Bear  the prize - 3 images up to $10 I used MME PP as background and added those cute little tools from My Favorite Things on silver embroidery thread. The stamp is by  Studio G, Linking up with: Paper Players  - masculine Naughty or Nice 16: Sketch Time  - see below CAS Colours and Sketches - see below Hope  to  see you there!

Another D@D Card....

Hi, I made another Father's Day card in preparation for my little yearly card selling stint - the sold well last year - hoping for the same this year;) The clever die cut is  Lil' Inkers. The card base is dry embossed with a Papertrey embossing plate. The sentiment and thanks arrow are heat embossed. Added Washi tape and splatters. I die cut the D@D twice - once using yellow paint chip and the second time with fun foam - that is so much easier than die cutting it multiple times and gluing it all together. Besides that its nice and soft.... Materials:  die cut by Lil' Inkers,  Papertrey embossing plate, Michaels and Heidi Swapp stamps, Washi tape Linking up with : The Paper Players  - tic tac toe The Male Room - Washi tape Amusing Challenges - anything goes

Guest Designing at Colour me....! challenge #59

Hi Everyone, I am having a blast GDTing at colour me....! This is my third week and I am so happy so many of you have played along with me! Here are this weeks colors: I think those lemons stuck in my head and they transformed the saffron color onto a more lemony yellow....I kind of got the aqua and red .... I started out with Washi tape, stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the chick and worm and monted them with foam tape. The sentiment is from the same TAWS set - Chick Magnet I love that perplexed looking fat chick - so cute! Did I tell you that they have an awesome DT - go and check out their inspiration cards! Hope to see you at colour me...! I am linking up this cards with TAWS - anything goes for February and with The Paper Players - bird on a card

Two More Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone, recently I got some great new stamps form Germany - they are from the Renke Manufaktur . For a long time I had my eyes on them and finally I got my hands on them, doing a little internet exchange with my friend Elisabeth ..... I used one of the stamps, which I had bought in two sizes - its called Bluetendolde . I love it, because you can use it for so many things, like what I did here, made it into a Christmas bauble. I heat embossed it in silver and gold (WOW embossing powder). The sentiment is by Mama Elephant. I added a little strip of gold glitter paper on the side. And "hung" the baubles on silver and gold strings.  Did you notice my new splashy watermark - Kylie made that for me and if you want one too, you can contact her - I made a link on the sidebar of my blog. Little Tangles and Paper Players

I am playing in the Little Tangles  Challenge #49- Giving Thanks  with my card: All stamps are by Neat&Tangled. I heat embossed the diamonds with gold, silver and copper and underlaid the panel wiht copper metallic card stock. As you can see, the sentiment is heat embossed onto vellum. Added the brad, silver string and some beads. Looks very elegant. It also fits the Paper Players challenge , but I rotated the panel  from horizontal to vertical. Are you enjoying your Black Friday shopping? Neat&Tangled has most of their inventory at a discount - although the stuff I wanted was mostly sold out already....
