Guest Designing for the Dream Factory

Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designer for the Dream Factory/Traumfabrik challenge . This challenge is about movies. The movie for this challenge is "Limitless/Ohne Limit". And with that in mind it's anything goes! I did however let myself be inspired by the official movie poster, as you see below. Those are great colors! I should use that poster for some other cards as well.... I made it into a Christmas card. I used my brand new Cats on Appletrees stamps (the oxen and the donkey) - a generous gift from my stamping friend Daniela from Stempelschublade , also known as Stempeldani  on Instagram.  The other stamps are from Purple Onion Designs, the sentiment is by Funky Fossil Designs . And lastly the die cut star is by Memory Box. I stamped everything. I masked the animals and sponged in yellow and green. Trimmed the card and mounted it onto a green card base. Hope you liked this - I hope I inspired you to play along .  Thanks for visiting...

Merry and Bright with So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, Christmas is coming and So Suzy has so many fabulous Christmas stamps. I pulled out some of my stash and that's what came of it. My stamp supplies:  Pine Branch,   Small Bow , Happy Light Merry sentiment , Ornament I first inked up the pine cone with Versamark and stamped it. Move the paper a smidgen and stamped it again in green. Heat embossed it in clear with WOW embossing powder. I masked a square and sponged with distress inks. The heat embossed pine branch resists the inke and you get a white contour around it. Sprinkled water on it and dabbed it off with a paper towel to get some texture. I added the sentiment. Finished off the card with the pretty bow and some die cut ornaments. The inside of them I stamped with a part of the ornament stamp and heat embossed it in gold, also with WOW embossing powder.  Happy Holiday Card Making! Spooky Hollow Tree

Hi Everyone, I simply love Halloween and my Spooky Hollow tree die from Memory Box was begging me to be used..... I die cut the tree, sponged my background and added the two ghosts (unknown company) and the pumpkins (Michaels $1 stamp). Added some white Sharpie accents and the bats (Martha Stewart punch). This sounds quicker than it was putting it all together, but I an so happy with the result! I did not think it needed a sentiment - it's obviously a Halloween card.... Guest Designer for Dani Peuss

Hi Everyone, I am so delighted to have been picked as Guest Designer for Dani Peuss! THIS card was what got me the honor! Dani Peuss is one cool store for card supplies - they even have their own stamp line of simply delightful stamps! Now for this weeks challenge the theme is NEGATIV anything - stamping, die-cutting, etc. First I was thinking I do some negativ stamping, but wasn't too thrilled about it. Negative die-cutting has been done forever and while I totally love it, I wanted to do something different. I filled my negative die cut with the opposite color twice. It's kind of a take on negative stamping, except done with dies. The tree die is by Memory Box, the birds are Impression Obsession, the sentiment is Simon Says stamps,  So have fun with negativity! That 's something that doesn't happen that often! Go and check out Dani Peuss: Shop   http://www.danipeuss.de Forum   http://www.danipeuss.de/ forum YouTube...

Stamp Connection #22

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our twentysecond transatlantic get-together!  And to make it even better Wiebke from KomMa Designed is going to join us! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Valentine's Day I pulled out my  Memory Box die that I have not used in a long time. Foiled the edges of the butterfly and mounted it onto hot pink card stock. Added a little strip of PP on top and have some hot pink peeking out at the bottom. The love die is from Cutplorations  I die cut it twice - once with dark grey and once with pink fun foam. Lets check out   Tanja's  and Wiebke's  cards!
