Two Cards, Two Challenges

Hi Everyone, my first card I made for the CASE this Sketch challenge - after an enthusiastic encouragement by Michele Ferguson ... after all I had the perfect sentiment for this one.... and oldie by Stampin' up. Sponged my background and added some Bokeh. The little bells are by Mama Elephant. Added lots of sequins and the little bell on that silver string.  And since sponging is my favorite technique I will also add this to this months HLS CAS challenge - favorite technique. The second card I made for CASology , the theme is TOY. The toy is the unicycle - I used to ride one in my former life and my son can ride one, too. The stamps are ancient, too and is by Stamping Ground, I believe....The word life I just hand wrote in. Colored everything with Copics and added black splatters. Also linking up with: Inkspirational - bah humbug! Anything but Christmas    Are you done with your Christmas cards, yet? I...

One Layer Eye

Hi Everyone, Less is More has a fun challenge  - although my card turned out to be a sympathy card. Was not planning on that, just happened.... I have those ancient Stamping Ground body parts stamps. I took the eye and also some of Ryn's teardrops . I still felt that something is missing, so I too one of my iStencils and lightly sponged the background. The sentiment is by Impression Obsession. http://www.istencils.com/store/products/27-00002-r-sc Now I am happy.  Linking up with Paper Pals Art  - see blow Simply Create Too - anything goes

CAS-ual Fridays and Just Us Girls

Due to time constraints I am combining two challenges.... .Just Us Girls  has "Ombre" as a theme and it's "all that glitters" at CAS-ual Fridays . So the dragonfly glitters over an ombre background. It kind of hard to photograph the glitter.  A while ago I saw on the Stampendous website the Kaleidoscope embossing powder  - that is really cool! It changes color depending on how long you heat it starting at blue to green, to golden brown. I only heated it at its blue and green stage, going with my background colors. I love the effect. I found another cool challenge to submit this card to: Catered Crop - the theme is glitter, too. How perfect is that?
