Funky Fossil Designs - Thinking About Ukraine

Hi Everyone, I made this card with the new released Doodle Blooms die set from   Funky Fossil Designs ! It is designed by Donna Gray. I wanted to make another card showing my solidarity with Ukraine. I started out with a blue piece of card stock. I die cut the flowers and leaves in various shades of yellow and arranged them on my card. Glued it all down. Rummaged through my piles of stamps to find a suitable sentiment and added it. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Flower challenge   - use scraps Alphabet challenge  - X is for Xanthic (Yellow) Color Hues challenge - blue and yellow

Funky Fossil Designs - New May Release Day 5

Hi Everyone,   Funky Fossil Designs  is coming out with a new release! This fabulous set is called "Abstractions".  There also will be a new 6x6 paper pad called Mixed media Kaleidoscope and new Washi tape, as I already mentioned yesterday! Now this is one super cool set! It has so many possibilities I only used one of the stamps for this card and left it at black and white. I used my stamp positioner and created two of the same cards - one black on white and one white on black, heat embossed. I then cut the panels apart at the same level and reattached them onto a card base. The sentiment is from the set Small Prints. Here you get to see the cards a little bigger - and hopefully better. The release will be in the store tomorrow, Friday 5/14. Don't forget to visit the DT blogs or the  Funky Fossil Facebook group   for amazing inspiration from those talented girls! Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Here for You

Hi Everybody, We are doing things a bit differently in 2020 at  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps .  The details you can read below (and it's a worthwhile read, trust me!) My stamping supplies: Feather&Birds Here for you I did some smooshing with distress inks after I stamped the feather on water color card stock. Added some additional splatters and colored in the feather a bit. Added the sentiment and 3 sequins. I also added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom to make it a bit more interesting. - I am going with our monthly CAS theme (my favorite anyhow). We have three new designers on the  DT and their favorite stamp which will be 50% off for the month of January. Shanna's favorite is the Castle , Melinda's favorite is the flowers in a vase and Nadine is the Psycho and saying. The images are on the web site under  Featured Products .   The other news is you can get $5.00 store credit once a week . Each month we will have s...

Here for You with Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, I am back with a CAS card I made  for Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps: I used the Peeking Cat  for this card.  I stamped it onto card stock and fussy cut it and colored it a bit. Added the sentiment  and the little paw print , that I heat embossed and die cut. Added it with foam tape. Trimmed the grey card base and adhered it to white card stock. It is super simple to do. Our current promotions: All Christmas Stamps  are 15% off in the month of November And t his wonderful sentiment is 50%off in November Linking up with: Show us your Pussies - Furrything goes

Twofer Card Challenge #10

Hi Everyone, its  Twofer Time . The theme is HARVEST. Now that is tricky. Harvesting what? I thought of mice (they love it) and apples and then I checked to see what other people do for this and they are harvesting leaves (why not....) pumpkins and grains.....so I figured I can harvest Chinese Lanterns. I always loved those plants and their pretty seedpods brighten up any fall garden.  This is a stamp by Lavinia - NBUS, but dearly loved and it finally got its debut. For the first card I did generational stamping, colored the first one with Inktense and added Finetec gold splatters. The lovely sentiment is a die cut mailed to me by the lovely Aileen Ryan a while back, no idea about the company. Love those gold splatters. Finetec is just one wonderful product! For card number 2 I stamped the Chinese Lantern upside down and added white gel pen accents. Also added generous Wink of Stella, but you can't really see that. an anoth...

Thinking of You with Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps

Hi Everyone, I am back with a stencil card I made  for Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps There are a lot of  stencils  in the store - this one is no longer available, but there are plenty of others which would work just as well. I used Fireworks sprays and sprayed my cardstock with a stencil. I took a black fine liner pen and outlined the stencil pattern, to make it stand out better (of course you have to wait for the sprays to dry. Cut my panel with a stitched die. Mounted it onto purple card stock.  Here you see the wonderful shimmer. Added the heat embossed  Thinking of You . Our current promotions: All snarky stamps  are 15% off from October 10-14.

So Suzy Stamps - Thinking of You

Hi Everyone, I pulled out some of my older So Suzy stamps for this card. I love this  solid swan  and he needed some ink....I combined him with the Beach Grass . First I masked off a rectangle and sponged with distress inks. I then stamped the Beach grass twice, without re-inking to get some depth. I added the swan and some white gel pen accents. Stamped the sentiment and added small enamel dots. A simple one layer card. Hope you like it! _____________ You get a stamp with every order free. This month it is  THIS  stamp:  We also have a sale going on at this month, this includes all Food  and  Drink  stamps: Linking up with:

Lost Coast Designs

Hi Everyone, recently I was at a stamp convention in Allentown, PA, where I bought some Lost Coast Designs stamps . I really wanted to play with them and finally found a little time to do it! And what better incentive than to play in their challenge - the theme is yellow and orange. Two colors I love! The card actually looks better in real life - not sure why I don't like the picture of it. Perhaps because you don't really see all the detail f this wonderfully whimsical stamp. It reminds me about the art of  Hieronymus Bosch , of whom I am a big fan. Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Lost Coast Designs - yellow and orange Happy Little Stampers CAS  -  one layer

Pinsights Challenge

Hi Everyone, just a very quick post. It's late already and I don't want to miss the deadline for the current Pinsights challenge over at Ellen Hutson. Made this water color background and added the die cuts and the sentiment, which are all by Ellen Hutson. Added a green thread. This is the inspiration picture: And another view of my card: Happy Stamping! STAMPlorations Blog Hop Day 1

Hi Everyone, we are having a blog hop at  STAMPlorations ! Shirley has designed those super cool layered stamp sets and that is certainly a reason to celebrate! The are incredibly versatile - you'll see all those different cards the DT has created! Today we are showing you the Layered Leaves set. Its the one in the middle on the hop graphic. So I layered them. Super easy, no exact line-up required. That fits my personality....I get stomach cramps about all those other layered stamp sets out there - too taxing for me.... I did not wanted to use fall colors, so I jazzed it up using some unconventional colors for leaves. I still found it a bit bland - neon paper to the rescue! The sentiment is from the  Layered Holly  set - we'll show you that on Friday. Also used the stitched nesting die - my absolute favorite! And splatters, of course... Have fun hopping - as usual we have great prizes to win, so don't forget to leave some comments along ...
