Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Pop-up Box Card

Hi Everybody, Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.  You may be familiar with the new card kits that  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps  carries in the store. The card kit for June is an A2 pop-up box card. If you always wanted to make one of those boxes, but shied away from the work involved, you might want to try this. But I warn you - it's still a fair amount of time that goes into that. So - something for a very special occasion or very special person...... at least for me.  For my card I used this  Card Kit. : I cut some designer paper ( Funky Fossil Designs ) For the background. I stamped the astronaut, rocket and moon and colored them with water brush pens. Cut them out. Also used some die cut stars (Neat&Tangled). Added those cuts to the inside partitions with strips of clear sturdy plastic (recycled packaging material). St...

Katzelkraft - FaLaLaLa Llama

Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I had this Llama set now for quite a while and have not used it and they are soooo cute! Maybe you are going to see more Llamas in the near future ;)    Les Lamas  -  KTZ230,  Noel Sleigh  -  KTZ214  (FRANCE)   Llamas  -  KTZ230,   Noel Sleigh -  KTZ214  (USA) I stamped the llamas. I used a stamp positioner to line up the light chain correctly. I colored with Inktense and water brush pens. The sentiment I got from a Neat&Tangled cover plate and rearranged the letters. The "M" is not on there, but two "A's" make one "M"..... Added Washi tape to the bottom. Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration!  If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies:  Topflight Stamps ,  Lo...

Jingle all the Way

Hi Everyone, I finally got myself to make a Christmas card - I hardly made any this year. Usually I already have a little stack by now.... I am playing a long with 52CCT - the theme is embossing. I used a cutting plate from Neat&Tangled for my embossing and my favorite characters from Dixi Craft. I used shimmer card stock - I think it shows in the photo. Added the sentiment and two green gems for a bit of bling and sparkle. Happy embossing everyone! Combining AAA with LIM

Hi Everybody, there are two challenges out there that I wanted to really play along - one is Less is More  with pick a triangle and the other challenge is  AAA Cards  - made in minutes.  I figured I need to combine the two. I gathered my craft supplies - an embossing folder by Alexandra Renke, a cutting plate from Neat&Tangled, my favorite reindeer from Dixie Crafts and an already made background from my stash. I also used a Sizzix triangle die and a little star die from Lil Inkers. Once I had my supplies making the card really only took a few minutes - way under 30 minutes. I even added a bit of sponged around my die cut trianglular tree. I did die cut the deer 3 times and glued it together - goes very fast, too. Muse Christmas Visions #112

Hi Everyone,  for the next two weeks Rebecca Yahrling  is going to be your Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions . And here is her modern, CAS Christmas card : So pretty and so many ways to CASE this. You see I went along with the CAS theme and the bird. I stenciled the background and used that new eraser technique that I learned recently from Papierelle . So easy and I love how this turns out. You may want to visit her blog, to find you how to do this. She is also having a little linky party and you can play along and win a cute little snowman stamp. The stencil is from Neat&Tangled, the stamps are by Technique Tuesday. Instead of blue I went with red accents. Have fun CASEing. I can't wait to see what you will come up with! So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, November 12th. See you at MCV! Linking up with: CHNC challenge  - anything Christma...

Twofer Card Challenge #8

HI Everyone, of course I had to play along with the current Twofer challenge . the theme is geometric - how could I not???? I did use a MFT stencil for this - turned out to actually be not allowed.....bummer. But I had a sneaking suspicion about this, so I made myself those tiny triangular stamps...... so forget the stencil  - I did use the same stamp on both cards ;) Look, here it is:  I don't think there is a size requirement for the stamps...perhaps I should read the FAQ's???? So I happily stenciled on both cards, as you can see. The happy birthday on the first card is by Neat&Tangled, the die cut thanks is by CUTplorations. Added my tiny stamps. That was so much fun to make! I also cut two of the triangles on the first card - the bright blue and yellow ones and mounted them with foam tape for some dimension. The bright pink triangles on the second card I simply masked. I die cut the thanks twice - with black fun foam and neon ...

Twofer Challenge #6

Hi Everyone, you knew this was coming, right? My entry for  Twofer Card Challenge #6 . The theme is tree. This was actually kind of easy for me, but I just needed to eek out some crafting time and decide on which tree to use.... I settled on a graphic one from the Scandinavian Print set by Neat&Tangled. And of course, one of my cards turned into a Christmas card. I never have too many of those..... The cute deer are from Cats on Appletrees, the sentiment is from the same N&T set. I used my Catherine Pooler inks. They give you good coverage with one time stamping - perfect for those silhouette stamps. Only the black needs repeated stamping, unfortunately. I couldn't resist to put a little red gem onto one of the deer..... My second card is a more graphic card - used the same tree and turned it upside down for every other stamp. Again, I used my Catherine Pooler inks. the die cut is from STAMPlorations, as is the little happy. Add...
