   Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designer this month for the Day of the Month Card Club challenge .   The theme for this month is:   Squirrel Appreciation Day How cute is that? Although they can also be quite a pain in the you know where....especially when my peaches get ripe. Spoiler alert - I never get to eat any :( But they are cute and one has to admire their persistence, cleverness and dexterity! This card is easy. I took a page from a delightful Funky Fossil paper pad ( Mellow Moments ) and stamped on it. The stamps are from Cats on Appletrees, the sentiment is from a Funky Fossil stamp set. I doodled the frame around it. I also added some dots (Lavinia stamps) I hope I enticed you to  play along and link up here! Happy Squirrel appreciation day! I love using my stamps differently. Drew them some legs and added googly eyes. Bleached out their bodies a little bit. The background is smooshed. Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  And since I am pressed for time I thought I am going to combine it with the Day of the Month Card Club, which has National Bird Day as it's theme . You have perhaps seen my bottle series. First I thought I am done after 4 cards, but everyone seems to like them. Besides I got some spice jars and a bird feeder as Christmas present from a good friend of mine, so I needed a thank you card. Basically killing three birds with one stone, so to speak....although the only thing I manage to kill is mosquitos and mice in my house.... This card is quite simple, but it took me a while to get the layout right. I wanted more bottles but it became too busy. Should have used a bigger card format for that, but I wanted to stick with what I usually do. So eventually I scaled it down to one bottle only and two birds. I remembered those books we had as kids, where you could create all sorts of funny creatures, mixing up their heads, torsos and legs.
