Topflight Stamps - Red and Pink

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is "Red and Pink" on the  Topflight blog .  I guess it's because we are close to Valentine's Day. I first was hesitant about the color combination and it took me a while to come up with something, but I am quite happy with the result! I used this pretty flower from Crafty Individuals and colored it in red and pink shades. Did some light brushing with distress ink (Kitsch Flamingo) in the back of the flower. I added the stamp  Abstract 04  onto the side. Added the heat embossed sentiments with foam tape. I also added a bunch of gems for some sparkle.. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Topflight Stamps - Where did the Sun go?

Hi Everyone, This week's theme on the  Topflight blog  is anything goes. My favorite theme! I used a fun stamp from Crafty Individuals  - one of my favorite British stamp companies. I love their whimsical stamps. and this one is perfect for winter. It's appropriately titled  Where did the Sun go ? I smooshed the background with distress inks. I stamped the birds on it. I stamped the birds again onto a piece of scrap paper and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out. I heat embossed some snowflakes onto the background. Left it without a sentiment - I don't think it needs one. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays with Topflight Stamps

Hi Everyone, I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, whatever you prefer. And I have a last Christmas card for you. I made the backgrounds with trees form Winter Wonderland - stamped them in grey and black. I took a generic tag die, water color paper and stamped the Christmas Tree stamp on it with Lavinia Elements ink. I then sprayed it with Lavinia Mystical Mica spray and let it dry. Stamped and colored the cat and cut it out. I used some gold threaded twine for the top of the tag. Assembled everything and added some Stickles to the cat and enamel accents to the tree. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Bob the Cat , Winter Wonderland Christmas Trees ,  Merry Christmas sentiment strip Mermaid , Chestnut Bay spray Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - Party Time

Topflight Stamps - Crafty Individuals Halloween

Hi Everyone, This week we are focusing on Crafty Individuals stamps on the  Topflight blog .  I am already in Halloween mood.....  I first stamped the raven, then the crow on top of it, but only inked up the cross. I used a stamp positioner to get it right. Lastly I stamped the moon. Did a bit of masking the crow, to not get some yellow into it, when I brushed the moon. I brushed the background (also masked the head of the raven). I colored the crow and raven with Prismacolor pencils.  Added white accents and white splatters.   I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Gothic Crow , The Raven Versafine Clair , Lavinia Moon And don' t forget about the Darkroom Door challenge. To enter the just create a project using at least one Darkroom Door product. Post it to the Topflight Stamps Design Gallery on Facebook and/or post it on ...
