Baby Shower card

Hi Everyone, a good friend of mine is expecting her first baby and today was her baby shower, so I can show you the card I made for this joyful occasion. I have had this Simon Says Stamp set ( We're Expecting)   forever and sadly had been unused, until now. It is so old, they don't even have it in their store anymore. Not sure why, it' such a terrific set! I colored with Inktense. I fussy cut the bird in the egg and stamped another wing from the mother bird, nestled them both in and glued them in place. I had a left over half strip of Washi tape, which made it on the card and a heart enamel dot. Love this! Too bad most of my friends are older and already have children. I wouldn't mind making more of those cards..... Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Sunny Day Crafting - any animal Simon Says Wednesday challenge - anything goes

So Suzy Stamps - Kitty Fun

Hi Everyone, I am again playing with this cute little cat stamp, called  Kitty Fun   It goes perfectly well with that  snarky sentiment . This card does not require a tutorial, but I took some pics.... Stamped the cat and colored it with Inktense. Used an Andy Skinner stencil and various inks for the background. I used a small action wobble and attached it to the card and the cat. The sentiment I stamped on a piece of scrap paper, cut it in half and sponged the edges before I glued it to the card. I trimmed the card base and mounted it onto purple card stock.  Here you can see it wobble. That kittie makes me smile! In case you want to order, you will get a free stamp with every order. This month it is  THIS  stamp:  We also have  a sale  going on at this month, this includes all Sports,  Fathers Day  and  Guys  stamps: Linking up with: Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Stampotique Favorite Holiday Challenge

Hi Everyone,  at Stampotique we are in the middle of our  new challenge  starting - the theme is " Favorite Holiday ".  Well, mine is Christmas - at least when it comes to card making! I used an embossing folder for the snowflakes and directly smeared ink on the paper, which left the snowflake indentation white. Added the trees  - of course did some masking. I colored them with Inktense. I stamped the gnomes , colored them and fussy cut them. Added them and stamped the sentiment . Stampotique Challenges run every TWO weeks...... Please remember you can use any stamps for our challenge and you are allowed to have 2 entries per challenge. From all the current months entries we will draw 2 random winners who will each win a 30.00 gift certificate on the first week of the following month. Have fun with  Hope to see you at  the  challenge ! Linking up with:

Less is More #374

Hi Everyone, now here is a challenge for me - Less is More wants us to use our Bits Box items. As far as I am concerned they can have this challenge for the next 500 times. It didn't make a dent into my Bits Box....although all items (except the card base) are form this box. The little pig even was already colored. Even the vellum came from there. I just tore it to size. The cityscape are leftovers from Paper Smooches, as is the pig. The heart on the stick is by Impression Obsession and the sentiment is by MFT. I embossed my card stock with a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder. Rounded one corner.  Perhaps I need to make a second card..... Twofer Challenge #6

Hi Everyone, you knew this was coming, right? My entry for  Twofer Card Challenge #6 . The theme is tree. This was actually kind of easy for me, but I just needed to eek out some crafting time and decide on which tree to use.... I settled on a graphic one from the Scandinavian Print set by Neat&Tangled. And of course, one of my cards turned into a Christmas card. I never have too many of those..... The cute deer are from Cats on Appletrees, the sentiment is from the same N&T set. I used my Catherine Pooler inks. They give you good coverage with one time stamping - perfect for those silhouette stamps. Only the black needs repeated stamping, unfortunately. I couldn't resist to put a little red gem onto one of the deer..... My second card is a more graphic card - used the same tree and turned it upside down for every other stamp. Again, I used my Catherine Pooler inks. the die cut is from STAMPlorations, as is the little happy. Added Wa

Chalkboard Technique with Katzelkraft

Hi Everyone, It's Katzelkraft time! My stamp supplies: Cupcake ,  Be Batman . Tea Time I stamped everything with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I colored the stamps first with white paint Used white ink and smudged it around the stamped areas. Gives you that chalkboard effect. Colored the stamped areas with water brush pens. Added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom after I trimmed the black card base. and glued on a bow made with Bakers Twine. STAMPlorations 5th Birthday Celebration

Hi Everyone, do you know that STAMPlorations is celebrating it's 5th birthday? Time really flies by when you are having fun. I am so honored to have been on this DT since almost the very beginning. Now for this celebration I had to choose my 3 favorite cards to share with you. A difficult task....I easily could have chosen 30, LOL! My first favorite:  I made that in June 2015 (see details  HERE ) using the following two sets Blooming Buds  and VIGNETTE: Eclectic Florals . It was one of the few times I tried out the no line coloring technique. My second favorite: (see details HERE ) is from August 2015. I  also used on of Deepti's sets: Lotus Love And lastly favorite card #3   I choose a newer one (see details HERE ) I made this card with one of my favorite sets - Woodland Friends In fact, I love this set so much, I decided to use it for my new projects. If coloring is not your thing, you can simply color block and use the
