Tea Time

Cool tea cup - its from the  Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger .                                                         I used quite a few stamps here to recreate  the feel of this cup. I have listed them below. I like the result of it. The sentiment is by Ali Edwards from Technique Tuesday. I am also linking this card up with CAS on Sunday - Floral Fantasy And while I had all those stamps inky I decided to make a second card - but for this on e I also had the Creative Friday challenge in mind - its make your own designer paper.  Since I suck at making bows, I watched on you tube how to do that - I liked Monika's video  and I think I did okay here.... Stamps: Hero Arts Blossom Art (Cl495), Memory Box Spring Flowers Cl113, Technique Tuesday stamps, Annabelle Stamps, Paper Source stamp...

Tuesday Trigger - Craving Navy

Hard to imagine, but I actually don't have a navy ink pad...Blue is not a color I often use.                                                                          Here comes the challenge for me. I decided to cut of strips of paper - thankfully I had some navy blue paper at home..... I mounted them on white card stock and put grey paper strips on the sides. I used two circle punches for the sentiment. The grass and sentiment are from Annabelle Stamps. The set is called Garden Silhouettes and I choose it a while ago as my prize for a card, which won in their challenge. I added the grass because of the flower vase in the inspiration picture. I added sequins and tiny gems for some sparkle. I hope you like it. Moxie Fab: Tuesday Trigger Simon Says: Monochromati...

Tuesday Trigger combined with CAS(E) this Sketch #33

This is my second post today..... I'll soon be going on vacation for 2 weeks and I have to get my card obsession satisfied, before I go...... The Trigger is expiring in a few hours.... I have been thinking about it now for quite a while, since I wanted to use my new Papertrey Square Prints set.....                                                  The inspiration finally hit me, when I came up with the idea to combine it with Case this Sketch layout. The sentiment is Papertrey Modern Basics and I added three brads. I off-set the sentiment to balance out the card. I really like it! And the best is - its a masculine card - something I normally suck at, badly.....

Tuesday Trigger: Right on Target and Vermont pics

Right on Target is the theme for the Tuesday Trigger - and what better to use than the Plano stamp from Hero Arts.... The sentiment is from TAWS - the set is called Jibber Jabber - I just received this set -  :) The little heart is a leftover form a die cut that I covered with glossy accents and dipped in glitter. I am also entering this card  into  A Blog named Hero  challenge - Clean up your act -CAS card. --X-- And here I wanted to share some of my pictures I took in Woodstock Vermont. There are a lot of covered bridges there, which are so very quaint. The weather was overcast, but we did not have too much rain.  As you can see the town is very beautiful - gorgeous houses! The picture below is the library - inside they had this beautiful paper gown exhibited! More pretty houses:  I wish you all a great week and thanks for your comments - they make me happy and I enjoy reading them!...

Tuesday Trigger

Isn't that delicious? This is the Tuesday Trigger inspiration from Moxie Fab. I kept my card close to the inspiration photo.  The background is made with the Papertrey Woodgrain embossing plate. For the squares I used the Papertrey Take Tree die and the flowers are made with Martha Stewart punches. The sentiment is Papertrey Happy Trails. I used a smidgen of chalk to give the flowers some depth.

Tuesday Trigger

When I saw this picture for the Tuesday trigger at Moxie Fab I immediately  thought of this piece of pp that I had laying around begging to be used.                                                                        It's not much of a challenge to use pp like that .....I did add some stamping, which I gold embossed - to go along with the golden belt. I added some white pen along the flourish. The sentiment is Autumn Leaves, as is the flourish. It was actually one stamp, but I cut it apart - that was easier than masking.....I applied some Stickles to the butterflies
