Neon Hello

Hi, you may have seen my first Neon Hello card (if not you can see it HERE ). Now I was not throwing out that negative die cut, but kept it to make a second card: And again, that sentiment is from that fun Lil Inkers set called Fine Print - I just love it!!!! You gotta look carefully here... Added some sequins and rounded the corners. Linking up with: Lil' Inkers Monthly Meet-up Bizzy Bec's April challenge  - anything goes

STAMPlorations Sketch challenge #15

Hi, here is my second blog post for today - please scroll down for the House of Cards challenge post! So its time again for the new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations ! And here is my interpretation: I kept it very simple - the colorful background panel I colored with alcohol inks on glossy card stock. This beautiful lily stamp I also stamped on glossy card stock and popped it up with foam tape and some gold thread behind it. I used the sets  Boxed Blooms and Bold Sentiments  and  PATCHWORK FRENZY: Graphic Squares  (sentiment) for this card. Here is a close-up: Go and visit the STAMPlorations blog to let our wonderful DT inspire you and also have a look at the fabulous card from our talented Guest Designer  Monika ! The challenge ends July 18; the winner will be announced July 20 I am also linking this up with this month  Bizzy Becs Challenge  - Anything goes and A Blog named Hero - color it in - colo...

Mosaic Heart

I could not resist to play in the Paper Smooches  challenge  - with such a pretty inspiration picture. I made my card a few days ago, but waited to post it, since I wanted to surprise my sister - I made it for her. I had to just copy that heart  - too tempting not to.... I used a Lifestyle Crafts die, which cuts out squares and then I cut it by hand into triangles.  I tried it on a grey background, but in the end liked the white better with just a little bit of grey sponging around the heart.   The sentiment is from Paper Smooches - Sentiment sampler. I added some sequins for extra sparkle. gold triangles I used shimmer paper -- looks really pretty in real life. I am also linking this card up with  Bizzy Becs  -   "LOVE/FRIENDSHIP".......   Addicted to CAS  - LOVE Time-out challenge  - Love and/or Friendship Snippets Playground  - us a snippet

How exciting - I can welcome 3 new members to my blog! I am happy to see you here. Let me greet you properly Mrs. Duck  - otherwise known as Ang Kathy K Yvonne  with a welcome picture: It is a sculpture by Philip Haas  - quite cool and recently exhibited in the Bronx Botanic Garden. This one is titeled "Winter" - I thought its appropriate for the season.... The artist basically turned an oil painting into a sculpture - I guess one can call it CASEing - below is the original painting by Arcimboldo I hope you like your pictures and perhaps more important - you continue to enjoy what I do here ;) ..... Like this card I made for several challenges: The tree die is by Memory Box - Twiggy Tree. I idi not die cut through the end of the stem and then made it longer with a craft knife. I sponged the tree. - Note that some af the branches go OVER THE EDGE.... The letters are by Papertrey - Block alphabet die. The little birds are fr...
