Funky Fossil Designs - Zinski on a Roll

Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs . This was such an easy card to make, thanks to this fabulous   Washi tape ! I used three strips from the roll of Washi tape and stuck it to the card base. Trimmed the card and added a thin strip of black paper at the bottom. Die cut the HELLO twice, glued it together and added it to the card together with some enamel dots. Can't be easier than that! Woodblock Wednesday - Heartfelt Wishes

   Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my wonderful wood stamps! I used four of them for this simple card!  I stamped the hedgie and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Added some grass and could not help myself and added the little spider - after all somebody had to make those spider webs....Trimmed the card with a scalloped edge die and used some colored paper under it (both from Funky Fossil Designs). Crackerbox Stamps - Duck when Life is Hard

Hi Everybody!   I am back with my  Crackerbox Stamps  post for this week . I made this fun wobble card. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.    I made the background with photo paper and distress ink smooshing. Istamped the duck onto scrap paper, colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. Trimmed the card bottom with a scallopped border die (Funky Fossil ) and added a strip of blue paper at the bottom of my card base.  Stamped the sentiment. Funky Fossil Designs - Namaste

  Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs .  I am again playing with the set  Yoga Queen . It is just so cute and I love the sentiments on it. For my background I used a page from the  Engine Room paper pad . I used the Mandala die (no longer available, but the  Sunburst die  would work just fine) to cut out a page from the Patina paper pad. I stamped the yoga women and colored her with alcohol ink markers. Cut herout and added her. Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs .  I am playing with the set Yoga Queen . It is just so cute and I love the sentiments on it. For my background I used a page from the Watercolor Rainbow paper pad . I used the Fresh Fields die  to cut out the page and glued it onto black card stock. I stamped the yoga women and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out and added them. Funky Fossil Designs - Celebrate

       Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs .  I used a page from the fantastic Deco Luxe paper pad  for my background. This is one awesome paper pad!  Not only for art deco lovers, it can be used for a lot of festive occasions! I added the Celebrate die cut and stamped the sentiment - they are both part of the Signature Series Issue 1  (on sale right now). Christmas Wreaths

Hi Everyone, I am back with my second Christmas card for this year. Playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is  wreaths. I used a Spellbinders embossing folder for my background. The pretty wreath is from Funky Fossil Designs . I cut it out twice. I heat embossed the sentiment (also Funky Fossil Designs) and fuzzy cut it. Attached it with foam tape. Coffee Hop with Funky Fossil Designs

    Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs . Made it with the Coffee Hop in mind. Funky Fossil Designs has some wonderful coffee/tea related stamps. I focused on tea today. I used the stencil Scandi Sweater  for my background. Die cut the tea cup and sponged it with distress inks. Stamped the cat , colored it with markers and cut it out. Stamped it again onto the card base. Added the greenery . Used two of the fern dies and a page from the  Watercolor Rainbow paper pad   The stamps I used: Layering cup die set Critters in Cups Scandi Sweater Fern die set Watercolor Rainbow paper pad   So far I have been enjoying the hop!  I hope you had some time for it, too. Funky Fossil Designs - Buttoned Up

     Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs .  This button background stamp is fairly new and is part of the Sew Pretty collection . It is quite pretty! I first brushed a background in rainbow colors and stamped the buttons on it. I colored the spaces in between the buttons black to make them stand out more. The sentiment is from the Sew Pretty stamp set . Lastly I added some buttons from the Buttons die set . Funky Fossil Designs - Sending Hugs

    Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs .  I had collected quite a few patterned paper strips ( some of them from Funky Fossil paper pads) next to my paper cutter and it was time to clean up. You can create beautiful backgrounds with those little strips. This is one of them. I took the flowers and fern dies from Funky Fossil and die cut them out of white card stock. Woodblock Wednesday - Celebrate Graduation

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! I needed a graduation card for my son's girlfriend. She finished film school and I wanted the card to reflect her education. The cats are her passion and dark green is her favorite color - so that's how I came  up with that. I die cut the filmstrips ( Funky Fossil ). I used the white cut outs form the white film strip and stamps the cats and mouse. The graduate silhouette is by Die-Versions. The words are by Pink Fresh. the Washi tape is also from  Funky Fossil And in the picture below you can see all my woodblock stamps:  (The Cat's Pyjamas, Recollections, Rubber Soul, Detailed Rubber Stamps) Hope you liked this. Funky Fossil Designs - Smile

  Hi Everybody!  I am back with a Funky Fossil Designs card. I had a lot of fun making this one. This was such an easy card to make. I stamped the background with the   Lace Background stamp in grey.  I die cut the frame ( Portrait Gallery frames ) and added a white insert. I stamped the dog and colored it with alcohol ink markers onto the white insert. Added him to the frame. Black and Silver Christmas

 Hi Everyone, I am back to make some Christmas cards. I hope you are not getting tired of them. this one is not really that Christmassy anyhow... I am playing along with 52CCT - it's black and silver this time.  I used the little houses from Funky Fossil Designs. The background paper is dry embossed.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions - it's heat embossed. I also added a silver thread and the little die cut heart from on of the houses. Funky Fossil Designs - TV Card

Hi Everybody!  I have a shaped card for you today. Funky Fossil Designs came out with this cute little Retro TV set , that is just sooooo adorable! It is big enough to use it alone, but you could certainly put it on a card as well.  I die cut the back twice, scored on of the cuts horizontally across the top and glued them together at the top, so it can stand on its own. I used the Midcentury Mayhem paper pad for the front of the TV. The birds are from the new set The Tweets . the fat bee is from Bugs and Blooms . Both sets are designed by Donna Gray - I am sure you immediately recognized her whimsical style. I stamped a little message inside the stamp is from  Bugs and Blooms  as well. The second TV I already showed on Instagram , but in case you don't have Instagram, I didn't want you  to miss out on the fun!
