The Night before Christmas

Hi Everyone, here is my weekly Christmas card - playing with Merry Monday  - the theme is the night before Christmas. I am going with those lines: When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,  With a little old driver, so lively and quick,  I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.    It kind off resulted in a modern version with those Paper Smooches skyscrapers. The Santa sleigh is from an old Inkadinkadoo set. Added some Washi tape and white paint snow splatters Also linking up with: CAS Mix-up challenge  - stamping and splattering Die Traumfabrik - Hüter des Lichts/Rise of the Guardians ABC Christmas Card Challenges - J-Jingle Bells K-keep it simple Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - a hint of pink

I Love Roo

Hi Everyone, as promised I'll show you one of the card I made for my little stamping get together last Saturday. That was one of the cards I designed and as luck will have it, it fits the current Less is More challenge , the theme is "down under" in honor of Kylie Purtell from Happy Little Stampers. Now Kylie does not have a kangaroo in her sets, but Paper Smooches has one and it is just so darn cute! I colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it. The heartbeat die is also from Paper Smooches. I cut through the heart that I sponged after I cut myself a stencil with a heart die. The stitched border die is by SSS. I mounted the panel on fun foam for some dimension. I am also linking up with: The Friday Mashup  - zoo animal (no mashing for me) AAA Cards - Love me like you do Addicted to CAS - Red Snippets Playground - use snippet (Kangaroo stamped on a piece of scrap card stock) Daily Marker - 30 day coloring challenge  (day 3 for me) Scrappy ...

Superhero

Hi Everyone, I need a birthday card for a little boy, so what' better than   playing with the  Friday Mashup  - just focusing on the Superhero theme.  All my supplies are by Paper Smooches. I fussy cut the Superman and colored him with Copics. The sentiment is heat embossed. The skyline was a bit of work, but totally worth the effort - I love how this turned out! Dandelion and Christmas Trees

Hi  Everyone, I am getting tired of making Christmas cards.... I needed a break from them. I love the inspiration picture for the current Sunday stamps challenge , so I pulled out my ancient Hero Arts stamp to make this card.  The sentiment is by Unity stamps. Did some masking and sponging. I also performed a little surgery on my stamp, as those falling dandelion seeds are attached to the main stamp. Just a little cut with my Exacto knife and I set them free! I am also linking up with: Mod Squad Challenge  - Anything but Christmas (exactly how I feel....) Happy Little Stampers Dec CAS Challenge   -  Favorite Technique (sponging is my favorite)    But I do have a Christmas card for you, in fact I  made two - they are slightly different - do you see it? My materials are: tree dies - Papertrey, sentiment - Simon Says stamps, some punches, gingham stamp - Stampin' up, PP cut with a die by Paper S...

Happy Birthday Becca!

Hi Everyone, I made that card for Becca - The Damsel of Distressed - I am sure you know her blog - if not you may want to visit her - I promise you won't be disappointed! Becca is fun, full of energy and has her won fabulous style! Now she is celebrating her birthday and she has a mood board - if you want to join in . She also raffles of 7 prizes, woot, woot! I guess its easy to see what inspired me on her mood board! Used that bird from Unity stamps, a stencil frorm Prima and the rest (glasses and sentiment) is by Paper Smooches. I double die cut the glasses and mounted them with a tiny piece of foam tape to give them more dimension. Added reflections to the eyes and colored that little heart in red.
