National Simplicity Day - Smile Crocodile

Hi Everybody!  at the current  Day of the Month Card Club  they have a challenge after my heart - National Simplicity Day. I do love making CAS cards! I also wanted to play along in the  Once upon a Time  challenge - see below. Therefore the croc had to make an appearance - it had been collecting dust. I have actually never used it. Shame on me! I die cut the croc (Simon Says ) and brushed it with distress inks. Added googly eyes. I used a  snowfall stencil (Simon Says) to make the confetti background using the same distress inks.  The sentiment is from a little Papertrey stamp set with a matching die.  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Day of the Month Card Club  - National Simplicity Day Once upon a Time  - see inspiration book cover below

Rainbow Pigeons

Hi Everyone, I got that awesome pigeon die as part of my birthday present from my sister. Naturally I had to make a thank you card. I got inspired by a painted utility box, that I found on one of my recent trips to Hoboken, NJ. I thought it would be perfect to transform into a card: I used a window die I had in my stash and scraps of rainbow paper - since I also wanted to play along in the current Day of the Month card club challenge. The stamps I used are from STAMPlorations and Funky Fossil Designs. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting. Happy Stamping! Day of the Month Card Club - Reminder Valentines Day

Hallo Ihr Lieben, Hi Everyone, ich will Euch an die  Day of the Month Card Club Challenge  zu erinnern. I want to remind you about our  Day of the Month Card Club challenge . Sadly I will be stepping down from the team. I had a great time for the last two years and enjoyed working with my team mates tremendously. However I have too much on my plate and need to have less responsibilities. Fortunately I can always play along just for fun! unser Thema ist:  the theme is:  Valentines Day I used this adorable stamp by Rubber Necker. I colored with Inktense and markers. Topflight Stamps - Say Thank You with Zinis

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day! I am in love with the   Elena Zinski stamps . Especially the Zinis! They are the cutest! I made my background with watercolor paper and dylusion sprays. Since the spray is so concentrated I also sprayed with water and got at least two backgrounds out of one panel (I made a buch of them...). I stamped the  little Zini and treated it with bleach - it becomes bright white and you can then color it any way you want. You may want to test it first - It does not bleach all inks.... I colored it then with markers and Inktese. Added a strip of patterned paper and the gold thanks die cut. I hope you liked this! See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Guest Designing at Just us Girls #531

Hi Everyone, I have the great honor to be guest designing at  JUGS  for the entire month! You know Easter is just around the corner. I think I bought this wonderful paper from Alexandra Renke last year and could not get myself to use it. But I finally gave myself a push and cut into it.... The theme is: Using designer paper always feel a bit like cheating to me....I guess I should just get over that feeling.  I used a stitched square die by Simon Says and another Lifestyle Crafts regular square die to cut the Kraft paper. The die cut bunny is also by Alexandra Renke. The pretty sentiment is by Papertrey. Come and join us at  JUGS , getting your feathers some use!  Stay home and stay healthy! Happy Stamping!
