Funky Fossil Designs - Grow Positive

Hi Everybody!  Funky Fossil Designs came out with a stunning paper pad and a wonderful new stamp set called  Grow Positive . I stamped the leaves and cut them out. I stamped the sentiment and also cut it out. You don't need to be accurate here, just kind of give it a wavy border and it looks just fine. Added the cut outs to a page of patterned paper from the paper pad  Bright Botanicals . I did add some white accents to the paper and added a bit more shading.                          Supplies I used: Grow Positive Bright Botanicals I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Woodblock Wednesday - Wrap Around Card

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! For this card I used my treasured Cats on Appletrees stamps and the bean stamp is from 100 Proof Press. I cheated with the sentiment (Funky Fossil Designs). Did not have a wood block stamp for this. But since the majority are woodblock stamps, I think I can get away with it..... Used my Misti to get all the beans at the same height, except the first one, which is ripped out by that beasty boar, LOL! Sponged the ground. Here is a better picture of the back and below you see a picture of the front of my card. As so often it is a simple one layer card. Snowman and Deer

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is Snowman and Deer.   I used the beautiful  White Winter Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs for the background. The funny snowman and deer are a Stampers Anonymous set that I bought a while ago and have only used once before. I stamped the deer directly onto the paper. The snowman I stamped onto scrap paper and cut him out. I colored them with alcohol ink markers. The sentiment is from an Ellen Hutson set set. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Paper Piecing
