A Card and a Get-together

Hi, its me again, today I am combining those beautiful colors from  Color Throwdown  with that fun sketch from  Just Add Ink  in this card: I used PP and punched a hole in it through which that cute Paper Smooches owl  peeks through. I colored ti with Copics. The branch is by  Memory Box and the leaves I made with a mini heart punch. The sentiment is Paper Smooches too and O added some enamel dots. I used a strip of foam tape behind the owl to make it lean out a bit....                   Also linking up with the  Snippets Playground  - use a snippet (the owl and the branch ) and with Send a Smile 4 Kids  - punches and or die cuts (used a punch) Uniko Challenge  - birthday and lastly Paper Smooches - anything goes We had a little stamping get-together yesterday - and the above card was on your agenda. Back Home and a Card

My time in Chicago went by very quickly - too quickly..... Every year I wish I could spend more time in this wonderful city. But its nice being back home too. So I had some time today and made a card for Dynamic Duos  and combined it with CAS-ual Fridays : All the die cuts, except the stars (Simon Says) are from Memory Box and the sentiment is by Mama Elephant - Merry Greetings. I hung the ornaments with silver thread - which required some fiddling around....and lastly I elevated the ornaments with foam dots.  And of course this card is largely made with snippets - it going into the  Snippets Playground ! --X-- I want to share some pics from Chicago with you: The modern Santa..... The stairway in the Contemporary Art Museum. The "Bean" by Anish Kapoor - one of my favorites... A view onto the side gallery of the Art Institute - looks almost like a picture, don't you think?
