Woodblock Wednesday - Celebrate Graduation

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! I needed a graduation card for my son's girlfriend. She finished film school and I wanted the card to reflect her education. The cats are her passion and dark green is her favorite color - so that's how I came  up with that. I die cut the filmstrips ( Funky Fossil ). I used the white cut outs form the white film strip and stamps the cats and mouse. The graduate silhouette is by Die-Versions. The words are by Pink Fresh. the Washi tape is also from  Funky Fossil And in the picture below you can see all my woodblock stamps:  (The Cat's Pyjamas, Recollections, Rubber Soul, Detailed Rubber Stamps) Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Woodblock Wednesday Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - lots of layers

Katzelkraft - Aviation Graduation

Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! I made this card for my nephews graduation - he is now an aviation engineer. I used the sets  Les Pabos Aviateur  and Holiday Quotes I stamped the little pilot and colored it with Inktense. I made the sky with a MFT stencil. (Did some masking). I added the sentiment. I also added the mortar board (die by Impression Obsession). Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration! If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies:  Lost Coast Designs ,  Topflight Stamps  or  Frantic Stamper  Happy Stamping! Congraduations

Hi Everyone, I got those new dies (unbranded) and have been itching to use them - just love that funky dog, or whatever it is.  I made the background with a cube stamp from Art gone Wild (ancient). The sentiment is also on the cube. The mortar board I made with an Die-Versions die - just cut off the head that was attached. Trimmed the card and added a contrasting piece of paper at the bottom.
