GDT for The Male Room Challenge #157

Hi Everyone, I am delighted to be guest designer at the current Male Room challenge . The theme for this challenge is "Food". Quite a lot of options here. I decided on the set  Basic Veggies  form AALL&Create. I love that one. I stamped it and heat embossed it in black. I doodles  the frame around the turnips. Colored with water colors. The sentiment is also heat embossed and is from an old set by Casual Fridays. I hope I could entice you to play along. After all this is the season of abundant food and festivities! See you in The Male Room ! Happy Stamping and Happy Eating! Linking up with:

Katzelkraft - Sorry, Bleep

Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! My Katzelkraft supplies:   Robots Cle KTZ209 I made the background with a stencil. I stamped the robot and cut him with my Scan'N Cut. The coloring I did with water brush pens and Stabilo markers. I stamped the sentiment (CASual Fridays), cut it out and added it to my card. Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration! Happy Hanukkah

Hi Everyone, I made a quick Hanukkah card - hopefully the recipient got it by now, since Hanukkah started a few days ago... CASual Friday has this beautiful set, where the stamp is from. I heat embossed it and sponged around with distress ink. Added sequins and Stickles to the "flames" Linking up with: Less is More - one layer with something with light

Big Thanks

Hi Everyone, a quick post today with a CAS card or better two, although they were not quite as simple as they look.... I started out masking off a strip on the card and sponging in pink. Added the hippo in navy blue, but to my dismay it looks almost black. Added the sentiment in grey. Then I thought I give it another go with a lighter blue ink - same steps, except that this ink alos does not look navy. I did shift the hippo up a bit, so that I could fir two complete sentiments below it, but then I was unhappy with how it looked and added another sentiment on top. I actually like both versions, although the first one a tad better. My stamp supplies are:  sentiment: CASual Fridays hippo: Rubber Soul (ancient wood stamp) Linking up with: CASual Fridays - pink, navy, white Muse - see Kay Millers fabulous card below  (grey background stamping and colorful focal point) CASE this Sketch - see below Double D challenges - silhouetttes...

Amazeballs

Hi Everyone, just dropping in with a quick card that I made for the CASual Fridays challenge - off the edge. Time to pull out my old Amazeballs set. It had collected some dust ;) I took those bubbles and stamped them with Versamark onto water color card stock - off the edge. First I thought I would use Brushos, but then I changed my mind and did some sponging with distress inks. Added some water droplets to loosen it up a bit. Added the sentiment - its from the same set. Of course I could not resist to add a thin strip of PP on the side. Linking up with: CASual Friday - off the edge Retro Rubber - anything goes Seize the Birthday - anything goes birthday  Happy Stamping!

The Challenge

Hi Everyone, seriously did you think I could bypass that stunning inspiration photo from The Challenge ??? No way!!! Just took me a while to think how to convert the image into a card. Today I figured it out. Took that fun die cut from Poppy Stamps, did some sponging and inlaid die cutting. I could not settle on a sentiment, so I left it blank, for future use. Here is the photo: You did not think, that I would throw out the negative die cuts and those little pieces, did you? No, of course I made a second card with it: Here I added a little THANKS in the corner, its from CASual Fridays. A Hanukkah Card and a ChristmasTag

Hi Everyone and Happy Hanukkah to all! I am playing in the colour me....! challenge , which is monochromatic light blue. That is in fact a real challenge for me, since I like it bright...but I needed another Hanukkah card, so here it is: The stamps I used are from CASual Friday. I stamped the stars with Versamark and rubbed Perfect Perls on them. It looks really pretty in real life, but its quite hard to photograph...in fact the whole card looks much better in real life. Oh well... Added some sequins. Unfortunately this is the last colour me...! challenge. Too bad, I really liked it, although I often missed them, since they had only a few days for us to link up.  I also want to show you another tag I made. this one is for the Ellen Hudson 12 Tags of Christmas challenge and for the Ellen Hudson Mix it up challenge . I used a Memory Box die and the stamps are Ellen Hutson. Also linking up with: Memory Box challenge #7 - Season's Gretings...

Make some Noise

Hi Everyone, just a quick post -  I wanted to get my card in for the current Time Out challenge - again linky is about to expire.... This was my second try - the first one I did not like, but learned how to improve it. I took the MFT equalizer stencil and inked it up and then smeared clear embossing paste on it. Let it dry, added the sentiment - is by CASual Friday, the set is called Woot, Woot. Used my Hero Arts Neon inks for that - you can get them at A2z scrapbooking  at 15% off, if you use my code Cornelia15 Love how this turned out! This is the inspiration picture - just up my alley - I knew immediately I had to play, but it was difficult to find time to do it... I think I got it. The clear embossing paste adds the shine you see in the picture. Also linking up with:   OLS - Sparkle and shine  - hope the embossing past does not count as second layer - not sure... no sparkle on this card, but lots of shine - you can see it ...
