Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, I got inspired to play along with the current  Dream Factory  challenge.  It's Jumanji - a Jungle scene. That's what I came up with: I hope it meets the requirements. There are certainly frogs living in the jungle and certain types of chameleons. Mine here does, as you can see. The  animal stamps are by Local King Rubber Stamps, the rest of them are from Uniko. I added some white gel pen accents and the  background is blended with distress oxide inks. I hope you liked this! Hi Everyone, I have not been playing with the Twofer challenge in a while, but I got some time today and went to work.... I got that beautiful raindrop background from Local King Rubber Stamps recently and thought it's perfect for the theme. I made a sympathy card - unfortunately due to COVID-19 I needed to make several of those and a lighthearted card to balance it out. I used those fun little Cats on Appletrees animals. The sentiment is by  Your Next Stamp. For this card I used distress oxide inks to color in the background. Hi Everone,  as soon as I saw the CAS Mix-up challenge for this month I knew I needed to play along...The theme is color your stamps. I have a few Local King Rubber Stamp sets at home and those are specifically designed to do just that. I used the Pond Friends  set for this card. The background I made with an ancient Poppy Stamps stamp and lightly colored it with a water color wash. Added the frame and the sentiment (Your Next Stamp) and splatters. Hi Everyone, I had to play with those stamps - they are by Local King Rubber Stamp. I knew it as soon as I saw this weeks CASE this Sketch The other option would have been a bat....I thinks its a Bush Baby, just had to hang him from its tail... I used the matching die for it. That made it easy. Added an enamel dot. Also added some light grey shadow for more dimension. Happy Stamping!  Also linking up with: ATSM - Make your mark - happy birthday to you!!!!

Hi Everyone, I wanted to play with my Local King Rubber Stamps and needed a challenge to spark my imagination.... Twofers came to the rescue - the theme is watercolor stamping. I used watercolor markers and colored my stamp, stamped it onto glossy card stock and then die cut it. One ostrich was not enough, so I stamped him some grey companions. Added splatters just for fun and some Washi tape. The sentiment also comes with the stamp set. Here you see better that the die cut ostrich is mounted with foam tape. I am thinking birthday card for an Australian here - I think it works even without a specific birthday sentiment, or? Hi Everyone, I made two cards today - both for kids I know. The first one is going to a little boy - I hope he likes chameleons! I for sure do! I got those stamps on my recent trip to the Allentown stamp show and was itching to try them out . They are by Local King Rubber stamps . Aren't they amazing? The sentiment is by Simon Says. The chameleon on the right comes with a matching die, the other one I fuzzy cut. I mounted both with foam tape.  I am linking up this card with: Sparkle and Shine  - see inspiration photo below.
