Online Stencil class combined with Papertrey blog hop

It's Blog Hop Day at Papertrey ! The theme is a pink card. I am having a lot of fun with that Stencil class. Today Julie Ebersole used a sticker sheet as a stencil. I don't use stickers, but I made my own sticker sheet stencil with that triangle cutting plate from Papertrey. I sponged mainly on the upper right with different pinks - just like Debby Hughes showed us on day 1 of the class. I used a fine black pen to outline parts of some triangles to give them more definition. I used two of the cut outs and stamped them with Papertrey Tiny Triangles as accents, added some sequins.  The sentiment is from Papertrey - Reasons to Smile.

Papertrey Blog Hop

Hi Everybody, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed your Holiday! We had a lot of fun - having everybody here on Christmas including the daughter of an old friend of mine who is doing an exchange year in Maine and had to leave school over the winter vacation.  I finally found some time to take part in the Papertrey Blog Hop ! Here is the inspiration picture - lots of beautifully wrapped presents: So I took some patterned paper and used my Papertrey Pillow Box Die to cut the box. The Christmas tree die is Papertrey as well and the star is from Simon Says. I wrapped it all with gold string. Quick and easy and it looks quite pretty! I love that pillowbox die - its so convenient for all those gift cards that I often need. Have a great day and thanks for coming over!

Papertrey Blog Hop

Great idea to make tags - I love it when something comes in handy! The  Papertrey Blog Hop  task is to make at least five tags and I just managed to make my five.....Its actually the first time I made tags, so this was a new experience for me. They are kind of cute little things to make.... I discovered, that I really don't have a lot of holiday supplies from Papertrey, but enough to take part in the hop.... All the dies are Papertrey, so are the stamps. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from my favorite set called Mixed Messages. The "snowflakes" are from the  Iconic Images set and I put some Stickles on them. And of course I used Twine from the Twinery on my tags. The tag die is from Mama Elephant                                                                         ...

Papertrey July 2013 Blog Hop #2

Papertrey July 2013 Blog Hop - again I feel like I am taking part in a scramble - but there is not much time left.... So here is the inspiration picture for my second card: And here is my card: This one was super easy! I took my Melon Melody Kaleidocolor ink pad, shoved the ink strips together and swiped it over semi glossy card stock paper and let it dry. I glued a strip of colored paper on either side and mounted it on white card stock. Then I stamped the sentiment on top (Papertrey Think Big Favorites) and attached three sequins with glossy accents.  I am also linking this card up withe the Moxie Fab Birthday card challenge . So much for tonight, now I have to do some other chores....Have a good night everybody!

Papertrey July 2013 Blog Hop

Today is blog hop day  at Papertrey   yeahh! And again there are delicious color choices.... For my first card I choose this picture and combined it with the challenge that's going on right now at Crazy for CAS , for which I choose this sketch from challenge #16:                And that is the card that came out of this: I masked the squares, die cut the flowers, colored them with ink pads and embellished them with little link circles and a drop of glossy accents. The sentiment is from the Papertrey Happy Trails set. I added 3 dots of liquid pearls. I am going to work on my second card now...

Papertrey Blog hop

Thankfully Papertrey posted the inspiration picture for the blog hop 10 days ago, so I could "prepare" for it.... I am actually leaving today for my 2 week vacation in Germany - visiting my parents and friends and I won't have time to blog and probably no time to comment.... So here is my card: Its hard to photograph gold, so here is a different angle: And a close-up: Materials: Papertrey Dot Spot, Papertrey Hello Die, Martha Stewart punch I hope you like it! I actually sent this card to a blog friend of mine in Germany, who is spending the summer in a Rehab clinic with her severly disabled son and her other two boys. She has a great blog ( Kreativsuechtig - but it is in German)  - if you have time, pay her a visit! I will be back in about 3 weeks after I have caught up with everything back home... Have a great time and see you soon! And before I leave I wanted to thank all of you for visiting my blog and leaving...
