Lost Coast Designs Challenge - Birds

Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card I made for the Lost Coast Designs Challenge .  They want to see a bird on a card. I happen to have a lot of Lost Coast Designs stamps and they are just collecting dust in my craft room. Time to ink them up! I first stamped the bird and then masked it. I stamped the background. Colored everything. Added some white highlights. Trimmed the card and added some patterned paper at the bottom. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Halloween with Lost Coast Designs

Hi Everybody, I am having fun with my creepy stamps. Halloween is just so good for card making - at least for me. It appeals to my darker side, LOL! But I had to make this card for two challenges - one is over at Isa's Facebook group ( Tag along with Isa ) -  #tagalonglive10  ( the theme is grid)  and the other one is the Halloween challenge at  Lost Coast Designs I pulled out my old Lost Coast Designs stamps - they needed so see some ink! I stamped the grid and sponged the background in an ombe manner. The figures are stamped on scrap paper, colored with alcohol ink markers and cut out. the sentiment is ancient as well (Martha Stewart). Trimmed the card and mounted it onto a black background. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Waiting for the Last Minute

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with the Instagram Artpoetry challenge. this week is about shopfronts. I choose THIS by Rob Bentley. I liked the surrealistic feel of it and I thought I just have the right kind of stamps to get the feel across.  the background stamp and birds are by Lost Coast Designs , the claw is from 100 Proof Press and the sentiment is Dyan Reaveley (Dylusions). I heat embossed the background. The rest I stamped and fuzzy cut. I smudged the card edges with Versamark and did some more heat embossing. Also sponged a bit on the upper and side part of the card in white, gives it more depth, but does not really come out in the picture. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! From my Gnome to Yours

Hi Everyone, working diligently on my Christmas card pile..... I am playing along with the Christmas Kickstart challenge . The theme is 'From my Gnome to Yours'. I bought that cute gnome and hut last fall and figured it's finally time for inking them up. They both are from Lost Coast Designs , I stamped the gnome on scrap  paper and stamped the hut on my card base. Colored them with Copics. Cut out the gnome and added him with foam tape. Stamped the sentiment (Stamplorations). Trimmed the card and added some wood paper at the bottom. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Christmas Moose with iStencil

Hi Everyone, I need more Christmas cards, I am way behind in my production. So Jingle Belles comes to the rescue. They want to see three of something. So I pulled out my trusty iStencil.  It is called  Winter Striped Tree   and my new Lost Coast Design stamps I colored the reindeer eyes with a white gel pen and added Washi tape for the sentiment. Also added 3 gems. So there is a lot of threes here - 3 trees, 3 reindeer and 3 gems. That should make the Jingle Belles happy ;) Linking up with:  Jingle Belles  - 3 of something Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge - anything goes Winter Wonderland - cute Christmas The House that Stamps built - stencil Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge - nature

Super fast card with Lost Cost Designs

Hi Everyone, if you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I went to a craft fair yesterday and got myself some stamping goodies (because I clearly don't have enough, yet....). And this morning, when I scrolled through blog land I encountered a few challenges that inspired me. So I went into my craft room, to ink up some of those new treasures. Here is my haul from  Lost Cost Designs. Those are new stamps and I fell in love with them immediately. I think you will see them often in the future. There are a few more - I should have bought them all.... Since I am also playing in the current AAA Challenge I needed to make a quick card. Gathering supplies and planning wasn't included in the time  - you know how you can agonize over a design for a looooong time...... I made a little try out on scrap paper - I do that quite often. Changed the colors a bit and then went to work. Stamping the animals took very little time. I used the party collecti...

Katzelkraft - It's a Lovely Day

Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a good summer. We are back in the swing of things with Katzelkraft Wednesday on my blog.  I was debating making a back to school card, but in the end those two won. My stamp supplies: Les Jungles , Les monstres des Carpates , Carpe Diem I first stamped the floor (from Lost Coast Designs ), sponged it and then made the rest of the background. I used Inktense pencils for the monster and giraffe and cut them with my Scan'N Cut. I must say, the machine had a lot of trouble cutting it. It somehow did not recognize the outlines. I will try coloring them in first next time. Maybe that helps...... Added the sentiment and the animals.
