Combining AAA with LIM

Hi Everybody, there are two challenges out there that I wanted to really play along - one is Less is More  with pick a triangle and the other challenge is  AAA Cards  - made in minutes.  I figured I need to combine the two. I gathered my craft supplies - an embossing folder by Alexandra Renke, a cutting plate from Neat&Tangled, my favorite reindeer from Dixie Crafts and an already made background from my stash. I also used a Sizzix triangle die and a little star die from Lil Inkers. Once I had my supplies making the card really only took a few minutes - way under 30 minutes. I even added a bit of sponged around my die cut trianglular tree. I did die cut the deer 3 times and glued it together - goes very fast, too. Linking up with: Less is More  - pick a triangle AAA Cards - made in minutes CHNC - anything goes, option something starting with "R" (reindeer) Perfectly CAS - Christmas

Funky Fossil - Into the Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone, Funky Fossil Designs came out with new stencils and I wanted to show you one of the new ones, because I think it is perfect for making quick Christmas cards. By now most of us I guess are scrambling to get all those cards done....... That is the new stencil:  It is called  Into the Wild .  As you see, I used it repeatedly, sponging with grey distress oxide ink. The last row I heat embossed in white - it takes a little time for the distress oxide ink to dry, so the embossing powder sticks to the last row. I also didn't mind that it stuck little bits to the other trees, as I wanted a snow dusted appearance. Added embossed water splatters. The sentiment is from the set Festive Penguins . The die cut Santa is one of my favorites from Dixie Crafts. He makes an appearance every year! Happy Stamping! Santa is Coming!

Hi Everyone, As half of the year is over it is definitely time to start making Christmas cards. Jingle Belles wants to see Santas. I obliged.... I took my favorite Santa and reindeer die from Dixi Crafts and this time colored the Santa. You see this better above. I die cut a window and stamped my favorite Christmas trees from STAMPlorations behind. Added some Stickles. The sentiment is also by STAMPlorations. Happy Stamping! Christmas Kickstart

Hi Everyone,  time for another Christmas card - my pile is growing much too slowly.... For this card I turned to my favorite oldies....the Dixie Crafts die, that I use every year - love this funky reindeer. The Tim Holtz embossing folder - another ancient treasure. The wonderful paper is by Alexandra Renke and I got that gifted, if I remember correctly by my crafting friend Elisabeth Marsen from aufs papier gebracht . I dressed up the reindeer with Nymo Garn and a collar of glitter paper. Linking up with: Christmas Kickstart challenge - moves on hooves CAS Christmas - deer ATSM - holiday

Gilded Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone, I need to increase my Christmas card production.....just doing them all year long is apparently not enough.... So I pulled out my favorite Dixie Drafts dies (Santa and Reindeer), a 3-D embossing folder and a so far NBUS German sentiment set from Inkystamps. This was really quick to make. I embossed dark blue card stock and smeared Delicata ink on top. Die cut the Santa, deer and stars (Memory Box) from gold card stock. Assembled everything with some Washi tape . The sentiment I had put in my Misti and stamped it on both cards. Linking up with: Alphabet Challenge - reindeer (second card) Craft Rocket Challenge - Christmas is coming (first card) CASual Fridays - shades of gold (second card) AUD Sentiment Challenge - winter sentiment  (first card) Animals Friends Challenge - winter animal (second card) CAS on Friday - Washi tape (first card) Winter Wonderland - Christmas characters (first card)

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone, here comes my weekly Christmas card - inspired by Merry Monday - loved the theme - something non standard - I always find that more interesting than the usual stuff. It is "non-black silhouettes". Well, I thought I can do this! Took out the Winter landscape die from CUTplorations and a Sizzix embossing folder, some white card stock and the funky reindeer by Dixie Crafts - actually that die cut I had left over from last years Christmas card production. The sentiment is by Stamplorations - Shery Russ Design. And because the reindeer wasn't goofy enough I gave it a googly eye..... Oh, how I love how this turned out! (Just in case you like the landscape die -  Use  code STAMPGIRLCORNELIA to get 20% off on all stamps, stencils, and dies on all regular- and sale-priced items in the store.) Money Book

Hi Everyone, today I don't have a card - I am showing you the playbook I made for my son for Christmas. He is a teenager and only craves money to spend on computer games.... so I had some fun, too, pulling out all sorts of supplies - Die Craft dies (Santa and Moose), STAMPlorations stamps (Funky deer), Memory Box (Santa hat), Santa Gnome (Paper Source) star panel and stars (Simon Says) and my favorite little devil (Alexandra Renke) - it turns into an angel, when you amputate the tail and horns... And lots of Washi tape, of course! It was a big success! Muse Christmas Vision #74

Hi Everyone, I have not made a card in a real long time - all the stuff you saw was done long in advance, since i spent a week in Chicago and then was simply swamped with work.... Today I spent making three different type of cookies, raking leaves and yes - making a card! To my big dismay I ran out of Christmas cards, before I even sent some off. I had so many and then I sold most of them, hmph. So back to making them..... And what is better then playing along with Muse Christmas Vision ? Used a Dixie Craft die and my brand new Neat&Tangled set - got that as a Black Friday deal :) The sequins are also by Neat&Tangled. Here is Kimberley Wieners fun MCV card:   Easy to see how I got inspired. Wanna play along? Need more Christmas cards? I bet you do....
