Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This is another one of my  Karl Valentin  inspired cards. He was a Bavarian comedian that has become famous well beyond the Bavarian borders.  He said a lot of funny as well as profound things. The saying on this card translates into "Everything was said already, just not yet by everyone." I used a background from my stash. I stamped the meerkats onto scrap paper and  colored them with alcohol inks.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This week I am staying CAS.  I stamped the lightbulb  onto the card.  Stamped the frog and insects. Re-stamped one of the insects onto scrap paper and cut it out.  Colored everything with alcohol inks.   I added it to the stamped image on the card. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I let myself be Inspired by Isa C. Craft and her Facebook tagalong challenge , which this month is about paper strips and/or Washi tape.   I have a whole pile of paper strips from trimming my cardstock and for a while I had been thinking about using them. Now this challenge played right into that idea and it was now or never, LOL!  I sorted the strips kind of by matching colors and glued them onto a white card base. I stamped the Meerkats and colored them with Copics. and then I agonized over the sentiment (heat embossed from Stampers Anonymous) and how to add it. Finally I thought hot pink! I sponged the background paper for the sentiment and the remaining white areas ono my card base with Neon pink and that did it for me.     Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I used one of the rabbits from the new rabbit set. I stamped and masked the rabbit. I inked up only the rabbit, not the pencil its holding. I stamped part of the Meerkat and masked it. I sponged the background. Added the grass. I colored the animals and  grass with water brush pens. Added the sentiment (Simon Says Stamps). I took an Exacto knife and cut out part of the rabbits hand. I colored the carrot ( Basic Veggies  from AALL& Create) and cut it out and stuck it under the rabbits hand.   Hi Everyone, I again have the honor to be guest designer this month for the  Day of the Month Card Club Challenge !  The theme for August is:   Book Lovers Day Now who doesn't appreciate books?! I totally love to read and I devour just about anything I can get my hands on - fiction, non-fiction, autobiographies, etc. I do  have some standards. I don't really read trashy novels. For that I consider my time to valuable. But I always have huge stacks of books on my nightstand that I am planning to read.  But  regardless of my reading habits, I used the Katzelkraft Meerkats for this card and combined it with this lovely stack of books from  Stamperia . Colored with water colors and Inktense. Added the thought bubble. Just wish I had better hand writing.... I hope I enticed you to  play along and link up here! Happy book lovers day!        Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I got inspired by Sandy Allnock for my card design.  I stamped the umbrella first. I masked off the space under the umbrella and sponged around it with distress oxide inks. I stamped the  rain (Impression Obsession) twice - once with and once without the mask. I colored the meerkats and fuzzy cut them. Sponged the masked off area and directly applied inks to the bottom to create some ground. Added some water splatters. Added the meerkats. Trimmed off the card and mounted it on a white card base. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This time its a Christmas card - we are getting closer, not much more time...... I made this the usual way I make my cards - stamped with a tiny bit of masking and colored with Inktense. I drew the Santa hat, as I had none that fit. Added some Stickles to it. I then masked the presents  and meerkat and sponged the background.
