Christmas in Kraft, White and Black

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is Kraft, White and Black I got a Twofer out of this one. Used the Tim Holtz Nordic Winter cover plate. I used some double sticky adhesive before I ran it through my Big Shot. And boy did I regret that.... Almost impossible to get those shapes out of the cover plate - kept sticking everywhere. I did manage to get it all out, except for the very small dots. I gave up on them....way to painful. But I had enough for a second card - the one above, which I actually like better. Lacking those little dots I just added a lot of white splatters for some fake snow. The sentiments are die cut 3 times and glued together. The one above is by Papertrey, the one below is from STAMPlorations. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Kraft, White and Black

Hi Everybody!  Happy Halloween to all of you! And fitting for this occasion I am sharing my last  Halloween  card for this year!  I got inspired by the Inspired by....challenge . Their picture really spoke to me and I basically copied it....Used some frame/postage stamps dies and some ancient woodblock stamps (Stampin' up. and Recollections). The sentiment is from an ancient Papertrey alphabet set. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping!   Linking up with: Inspired by....challenge Lost Coast Designs  - Cats

Day of the Month Card Club - Repeat Day

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Hello Everyone! Wir starten heute in unsere 15. Challenge mit dem Thema: Today is the start of our 15th challenge: Repeat Day Our guest designer for this month is the wonderful  Marina   - she was voted the winner in our 13th challenge. End The Hate

Hi Everyone, I don't know about you, but I am deeply disturbed about the events of the last several month. Starting with COVID19, that devastated the lives of so many people and disproportionately the lives of minorities, black and brown. It also disproportionately affected and affects the poor, since we are far from having overcome this disease. On top of that we experience senseless violence and police brutality against the black community. I feel drained and at the same time glued to the news. This country has been going the wrong way the last few years, sewing hate, dividing people, increasing income inequality and encouraging blatant racism. This needs to end. Change can't come soon enough!  So out of my despair I created this card with iStencils ( stripes , Statue of Liberty ) and stamps by Ryn Tanaka (tear drops). Alphabet dies by Papertry. I think it needs no other explanation. I hope for this country to heal and get better. I hope for justice. If...

25 Days of ChristmasTags at Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, Muse Christmas Visions is tagging along - haha, pun intended with Tracey McNeely's wonderful 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Our theme for the current MCV challenge is Botanical. I am sure that will come easy to most of you! I am not a big fan of tags, so this is challenging for me.... It is what it is, right? At least I got the theme right. I used card stock I had previously used as spray guard and die cut my botanical elements (Papertrey). Added them onto a Kraft tag and splattered white paint onto it. I also added clear Nuvo drops onto the berries, to add some shine. I hope you will find time to play along with us at MCV . Link up your tag as well as link to Tracy's' blog. There is a lot of prizes up for grabs thanks to all those wonderful sponsors, see below: botanical

Muse Christmas Visions #106

Hi Everyone, the current Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions  is Chriss Blagrave from Botanical Cafe .   She made this wonderful Christmas card: I had an old water color background laying around, that I kept for future use and it kind of fit. Little more yellow green, but I figured it would do....I used Papertrey dies and spruced it up a bit with gold metallic paper and red metallic berries. Added the striped paper for a modern vibe. and conveniently Chriss heat embossed her sentiment in white - so here is another similarity. I hope you will find time to play along with us. The linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, August 20. See you at MCV! Linking up with: The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge - anything goes

Muse Christmas Visions #101

Hi Everyone, we have a wonderful guest designer over at  MCV .  I am sure you all know her - at least the frequent players at Muse Christmas Visions. It is Pam   and she is one of our frequent players. A big hurrah for that! Her cards - pure eye candy! Her is her card . You see, I was right - eye candy! And sweet on top of it! I tried to come up with a similar background, but failed miserably.... so I took one of my brand new stencils (Carabelle Studio) and colored in some embossing paste. The dove is from 100 Proof Press and the die is by Papertrey. So come and  play along ! You still have a little bit of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, June 11. See you at MCV! Winter Striped Tree

Hi Everyone, I played with my iStencils - this beautiful tree stencil is one of my favorites It's called Winter Striped Tree . So clean and modern, yet the swirls add a  lot of interest.  For the white card I stenciled twice - once in lime green. Then I moved the stencil a smidgen and sponged again with a darker green. Then I splattered gold splatters with Fine Tec and let it dry. Die cut the sentiment from the card and with fun foam and put it all together. Added the little "wishes", Washi tape and enamel dots The second card is essentially the same, except that I stenciled only once (I actally made that card first). Twice is better. Did not splatter (another mistake) The die cuts I used are from Papertrey. this card got some little gems and of course Washi tape. Happy Stenciling everyone!  Linking up with: Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies Time Out Challenge - CASeing MicheleFerguson (see her...
