Woodblock Wednesday - Heartfelt Wishes

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my wonderful wood stamps! I used four of them for this simple card!  I stamped the hedgie and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Added some grass and could not help myself and added the little spider - after all somebody had to make those spider webs....Trimmed the card with a scalloped edge die and used some colored paper under it (both from Funky Fossil Designs). Heat embossed the sentiment and added it with foam tape. Here you can see all the stamps I used: Hedgie (Penny Black) Spider and grass (Stamps by Judith) sentiment (Savy Stamps) Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Woodblock Wednesday - Golden Wreath

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my wonderful wood stamps! This stamp is actually a new addition to my woodblock stamp collection. It is  a gift from Amy - I won it at the last Woodblock Wednesday. Thanks again Amy, what a treasure this on is! I stamped the wreath (Stampington & Company) onto shimmer paper with Versamark and heat embossed it in gold. Added the die cut Thanks (Mama Elephant).  Added little red gems and a gold thread. Trimmed the card and put a strip of Washi tape on the bottom. It shimmers nicely. That wreath would also work well for Christmas cards. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Fun with Halloween

Hi Everyone, I wanted to play along with  Tag along with Isa  over on Facebook - see graphic below. Here is the graphic and the requirements. I went with Halloween, a landscape card and a bunch of colors. I also have a tree, a cat and a witch.  I brushed the background with distress inks. Stamped all the stamps on it. Stamped the little witch and the cat again onto scrap paper and colored them with markers. Cut them out and added them Also added a few white accents. Mounted it onto purple cardstock. All stamps are form Stampin' up. And most are old woodblock stamps. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Woodblock Wednesday - Christmas Card Set

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! This one is an oldie, but goodie from Hero Arts (K6100). I actually detached the stamp from its woodblock and stuck it onto my Misti. Since I don't think you can continue to do that all the time I made a set, using different colors. The sentiment is also from Hero Arts (C3188). Simple one layer cards. Hope you liked this. Woodblock Wednesday - Celebrate Graduation

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! I needed a graduation card for my son's girlfriend. She finished film school and I wanted the card to reflect her education. The cats are her passion and dark green is her favorite color - so that's how I came  up with that. I die cut the filmstrips ( Funky Fossil ). I used the white cut outs form the white film strip and stamps the cats and mouse. The graduate silhouette is by Die-Versions. The words are by Pink Fresh. the Washi tape is also from  Funky Fossil And in the picture below you can see all my woodblock stamps:  (The Cat's Pyjamas, Recollections, Rubber Soul, Detailed Rubber Stamps) Hope you liked this.
