Christmas in Christmas yellow, orange and red

Hi Everyone, I thought I will wait until February for my first Christmas card in the new year, but here I am......  I checked out  52CCT  - the theme is  yellow, orange and red. I found that intriguing and played along with my brand new Unity Stamp snowman - I couldn't resist him.... I stamped the snowman onto the card and again onto sticky back paper and cut him out from there to make a mask. I sponged around him using distress inks. Colored the snowman a bit and stamped the sentiment. Added lots of splatters. Trimmed the bottom and added a strip of patterned paper. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - yellow, orange and red Basteltraum - Schneemann Crafting Happiness - Feste jeder Art

Hello Little One

Hi Everyone, I wanted to play along at CASology - the theme is Safari. Pulled out my MFT Jungle Friends and settled for those cute elephants. I bought that set quite a while ago and it was up to now still NBUS.....tsk, tsk, tsk... I found some patterned paper in my stash, die cut the elephants and gave them googly eyes. The sentiment is from Unity stamps - downright ancient, as is the enamel heart.  Gender neutral card, right? Dandelion and Christmas Trees

Hi  Everyone, I am getting tired of making Christmas cards.... I needed a break from them. I love the inspiration picture for the current Sunday stamps challenge , so I pulled out my ancient Hero Arts stamp to make this card.  The sentiment is by Unity stamps. Did some masking and sponging. I also performed a little surgery on my stamp, as those falling dandelion seeds are attached to the main stamp. Just a little cut with my Exacto knife and I set them free! I am also linking up with: Mod Squad Challenge  - Anything but Christmas (exactly how I feel....) Happy Little Stampers Dec CAS Challenge   -  Favorite Technique (sponging is my favorite)    But I do have a Christmas card for you, in fact I  made two - they are slightly different - do you see it? My materials are: tree dies - Papertrey, sentiment - Simon Says stamps, some punches, gingham stamp - Stampin' up, PP cut with a die by Paper S...

Stamp Connection #2

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our second transatlantic get-together! Our requirements for this meet-up were: Flowers & Watercolors And here is my card: I masked off a square on watercolor paper, stamped the flowers and then flicked on water color in green and yellow tones. Waited  for it to dry and then sponged lightly around the flowers to make the square stand out more. Added the sentiment. All stamps are by Unity from the set Insightful Meadows .                                                               Now aren't you curious ...

Unity Challenge

Hi Everyone,  I am playing in the   Unity challenge  - love their inspiration picture! And since I took advantage of that fabulous sale they had ( and still have ) I am now the proud owner of a bunch of Unity stamps! The stamp set I used is called Insightful meadows and it has a bunch of really beautiful flower stamps. I only choose one of them and heat embossed them in pale green, yellow, pink and blue. I then masked off a strip and sponged it in grey. Added hop oink colored Paper Candi. The sentiment is by Unity too, I think. Have a great day and happy stamping!
