Guest Designing for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be guest designing for the current Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers , which runs for the next four weeks. The theme is  "Outside". This made me immediately think about an outhouse...what else could you possibly think of? Here is the challenge graphic: The outhouse and the duck are from Crackerbox Stamps , as is the sentiment . This is my go-to company for snarky stamps. the greenery is from Katzelkraft stamps. I brushed the background with distress oxide inks. I colored the outhouse and duck with alcohol ink markers and cut them on my Scan-N cut. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting. Perhaps you'll find time to join the challenge! See you there!  Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be guest designing for the current Time Out challenge , which runs for two weeks. The theme is a photo - see below. I went with the adorable fabric/ bag, which is made by the very talented and lovely Kim Heggins - a former Time Out DT member. She now runs Running Stitch Designs and sponsors the current challenge.  Here are the challenge pictures: And here is a magnified view of the wonderful bag: I went very close to the doggie fabric und used my beloved Katzelkraft stamps . I colored with Copics. The tiny sentiment is heat embossed and comes from the set  Whatchamacallit  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting. Perhaps you'll find time to join the challenge! Guest Designing for the Dream Factory/Traumfabrik

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  MAVKA - HÜTERIN DES WALDES  in English   MAVKA. The Forest Song . This is an Ukranian movie. The DT chose it to  honor this brave country, which continues to fight for its freedom! So you can put anything on your card that had forest and/or its creatures as a theme.  Here is the movie poster - perhaps it inspires you! The trees are from Rubbernecker, with a few selected ones from Lavinia. The cute forest animals are from Cats on Appletrees. Did some brushing for my background. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

GDT for the Dream Factory Challenge - Elliot the littlest Reindeer

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  "Elliot the littlest Reindeer" . Don't worry If you don't know the movie. Anything Christmas is fine, as long as it somewhere features a reindeer. I started with selecting a background paper. This one is from the beautiful  White Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs. I stamped the sentiment first ( Vivas las Vegas)  and added the various reindeers ( Cats on Appletrees,Stampin' up). Added a little bauble to one of the antlers and some embellishments in the upper corners (Technique Tuesday stamps). Also added a brad and some red thread as well as tiny red enamel dots to the reindeer's noses. Below is the movie poster for your inspiration. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/D...

GDT for the Try it on Tuesday Challenge

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Try it on Tuesday challenge . The theme is "Baby it's Cold Outside". I immediately knew what stamp I would use for this fabulous theme.  The little cold Katzelkraft Pabos. I started out masking a frame with Washi tape around the upper part of my card and brushed it with distress oxide ink. Added some water splatters and white splatters to the background. Stamped the Pabos and then stamped him again onto scrap paper and colored him with alcohol inks. Cut him out.  Added the cut out to the stamped image on the card. Used my stamp positioner to add the cake. Stamped the sentiment (A Muse). Colored the cake and added white accents. The stamp I used is from the following set: Sherlock Holmes - KTZ211,  Tea Time - KTZ200 (FRANCE) Sherlock Holmes  - KTZ211,  Tea Time  -  KTZ200   (USA) Hope you liked this and perhaps I inspired you to play along with the  Try it on Tu...

Guest Designing for 52CCT

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  although this time I have the honor to be guest designer for  52CCT  - the theme is a sketch. The sketch (below) lends itself naturally to choosing a bauble as the main element.  I got this bauble last year, I think - it's from Sizzix and it embosses and die cuts at the same time. It is quite pretty. I choose white shimmer paper for it. Added some old Washi tape below and a lot of white splatters. Also added some stitched stars (Lil Inkers).  Lastly I added some gold thread string to hang up my bauble and nestled in my sentiment (Taylored Expressions). I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: Just Add Ink  -  Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - emboss it

It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie the Croots. Don't worry If you don't know the movie you could watch the trailer or just make a card with animals, funny, stone age, jungle, etc. See the movie poster below. I pulled out my F unky Fossil Designs  supplies for this card. I mixed up the set  Ditsy Dinos  and  On Safari  to create my little scene. I colored with alcohol ink markers. Part of the animals I cut out, the lion and tree are stamped directly on the card and I masked them. This is the movie poster: Supplies I used: On Safari  Ditsy Dinos I hope you liked this. Guest Designing for 52CCT - Green and Red

Hi Everyone, The new challenge at  52CCT , where I am honored to be guest designer for this week. The theme is Green and Red  - very traditional colors, so I went with non-traditional stamps, LOL! I used a left over background from a prior project (water colored). I stamped the monster and dog (Stampotique) onto scrap paper, colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them out. Stamped them again onto the card base and added the cut-outs. Added the sentiment (Ellen Hutson). I trimmed the card and added my favorite strip of patterned paper at the bottom. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! and don't forget to kink up your card with  52CCT ! Happy Stamping!

Guest Designing for the Dream Factory/Traumfabrik Challenge

Hi Everybody!  I have to honor to guest design for the current  Dream Factory/Traumfabrik Challenge ! The inspiration is from the Movie Squared Love - see the inspiration poster below. But you can use anything with Love, Hearts or Valentine's Day  ( Liebe ,  Herzen ,  Valentinst ag) . I kept it simple with mycard. I used that cute Ellie from the set On Safari designed for Funky Fossil Designs by Donna Gray. I colored him with alcohol ink markers and added some white gel pen dots. I heat embossed the sentiment (same set) and added it with foam tape. Masked the Ellie and sponged a bit of a background. Trimmed the card. Put a strip of patterned paper on the side. I also added Crystal Lacquer to the hearts and an enamel dot at the bottom. This is the movie poster: I hope you'll get inspired and play along! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:
