Hi Everyone, I had to play with the current Fusion challenge - fell in love with the inspiration picture. And I figured my new stamp set from The Ton would be perfect for this. I won this on their recent birthday celebration. Love that set. It is just so pretty! I heat embossed the peonies with silver embossing powder onto white card stock. Colored it with water brush pens and fuzzy cut it. Glued it onto silver card stock and added the sentiment - also heat embossed. I love how this came out! Also added a Nuvo drop for balance. I did use the sketch and elements form the picture such as the ombre background, the wood from the bench and the color scheme. That grumpy monster is by Whipper Snapper. Added white Nuvo drops and glossy accents to the cup. The hilarious sentiment is from CUTplorations . I colored with watercolors and fuzzy cut the monster. Mounted it with foam tape. Hi Everyone, I am sharing a card today that I made for Freshly Made Sketches and   Fusion challenges . You may have noticed that I do not often play in sketch challenges, but the Freshly Made one is so fun and unique, I had to play along! And the Fusion picture is just too cute to ignore..... Took my Paper Smooches sets, stamped the critters and colored them with Copics. Die cut some PP squares and put it all together. I just love this! Hi, I have a quick card for you, using all Neat & Tangled stamps and the inspiration came from the  Fusion challenge  (see inspiration picture below). I used that neat triangles stamp, inked it with distress inks and spritzed it with water, before I stamped it on water color paper. You see some of the colors are blending and it gives you a watercolor effect. I heat embossed the round HAPPY with glitzy black embossing powder. If you are wondering why the black circle - in the picture there is a lamp with a round black stem (or whatever you call that...). Added some Washi tape and enamel dots.  Challenges:  Little Tangles Seize the Birthday  - no topping for me...         Happy stamping!

Did you see that inspiration picture at the  Fusion  challenge? You probably did. I wanted to play ..... This si so up my alley with those rbight colors! Finally I found the time...... I used my new MFT stamp sets - NBUS (never before used schtuff), as Darnell from djcardkreations  would call it. By the way - she has a challenge going on over there for exactly that - get your NBUS out there - you bought it to USE it, right? Stamped in various colors and added some black paper strips on the side - to combine the colors with the sketch. Colored in the "YOU" and added those lovely enamel dots.  Steckenpferdchen  - a German challenge blog has chevron as a theme right now - of course I had that in mind, when I chose my stamps......and since there are some snippets involved I am also linking this with Di's Snippets Playground - another worthwhile blog to visit. Hi, I "fused" the fusion challenge with Little Tangles and made this card: I used my favorite Neat&Tangled set for this card - its called Party Dots. I heat embossed it in red, after I first stamped it red, but was not happy with the coverage and intensity of the stamp. And the sentiment is from the set Everyday Labels - also from Neat&Tangled. This set is so versatile - I love it too! I stamped it with Versamark on vellum and heat embossed it. Its cool, when the embossing powder melts on vellum - great to watch....Lastly I added that little foil heart (Michaels confetti) on a silver string and mounted everything on a red card base.  Simon  Says Monday challenge - we love stamps Oozak - white with one color CASE this Sketch                                                             ...

I have not played in the Fusion challenge forever, but when I saw this picture and the sketch I had to....                                                                 I ended up making two cards, using the leftover scraps for the second card. I used the Make a Splash set from Technique Tuesday. the newspapaer background I stamped with the Hero Arts Friend definition stamp in grey. I used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and the oval I cut with a Die-namics Die. I am also linking this card with the  Simon Says - Emboss it challenge  and with Night Shift stamping - Summer , because whale = ocean = summer fun - or do you think its too much of a stretch?
