As we are into October now I thought a fall themed card is in order..... I love this new stamp set by Hero Arts, called Color Layering Fall Trees (Cl886). It offers so many options.  I took the little tree and stamped it repeatedly to make one big tree.  Smoothed the tree out with colored pencil. Then I inked up various leaf stamps in different distress inks, spritzed them with various amounts of water and stamped. Quick and easy and I love the effect! Lastly I added some watercolor to make the ground and the sentiment. Die cut it with a stitched frame die an mounted it onto colored card stock.
