Woodblock Wednesday - A Very Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my wonderful wood stamps! I stamped the scripted tree (Hero Arts) and heat embossed it in white. Added lots of white splatters. Stamped the hedgehog (Penny Black) and bird (Inkadinkadoo) onto scrap paper, colored them and added them. And here are all those wonderful woodblock stamps: Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Woodblock Wednesday Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - anything goes

Joyous Holiday

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is "music".   I first stamped the angel (an ancient Inkadinkadoo stamp) with Versamark and heat embossed it with a sparkly clear embossing powder (Brutus Monroe - Fairy Dust). I then sponged the background in an ombre pattern. Wiped off the color from the angel. Die cut a smaller rectangle from the card and used the cut off as frame after I turned it around. Added water and white splatters. Added the sentiment. Added some gems. The angel sparkles wonderfully - unfortunately it doesn't show in the picture.... I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Music I spy with my Little Eye  - something with wings CAS on Fridays - embossing

CAS Christmas

Hi Everyone, I have two CAS Christmas cards for you today. Believe it or not, but I ran out of Christmas cards, despite making them all year long. I guess I will continue in January, LOL! So the easiest way to go about this is with CAS cards. My first card I made with that adorable bear carved by Donna Gray and available at Rubbermoon. I adorned him with a Santa hat by Katzelkraft and added generous Stickles to the brim. The sentiment I doctored - its an ancient one by Inkadinkadoo that says "a very merry Christmas". I masked of the "m" and drew in a "b". The "r" was easy to make into an "a".  My second card is in red and white fir some challenge, that I now can't remember which one it was....probably over by now. I used supplies by Funky fossil Designs - the stamp is from the set Joy and the stencil is called Microdots . The die cuts are from Dixi Craft.  Linking up with: Card Concept - see pictur...

The Night before Christmas

Hi Everyone, here is my weekly Christmas card - playing with Merry Monday  - the theme is the night before Christmas. I am going with those lines: When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,  With a little old driver, so lively and quick,  I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.    It kind off resulted in a modern version with those Paper Smooches skyscrapers. The Santa sleigh is from an old Inkadinkadoo set. Added some Washi tape and white paint snow splatters Also linking up with: CAS Mix-up challenge  - stamping and splattering Die Traumfabrik - Hüter des Lichts/Rise of the Guardians ABC Christmas Card Challenges - J-Jingle Bells K-keep it simple Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - a hint of pink

Muse Christmas Vision #54

Hi Everyone, I am back to stimulate you to pull out your Christmas supplies and play with us at the  Muse Christmas Vision! For this week I created a card with a window, using a die by Papertrey. I die cut my white card stock and then made myself a triangle onto a second piece of card stock and sponged in all sorts of colors. Added the little houses (Inkadinkadoo) and the Santa (not sure from what company it is) I did not feel it needed a sentiment, but one could certainly add one. I also die cut a piece of fun foam to elevate my card stock window. So, there are so many ways to CASE this - I am sure you'll find your own unique one!  Hope to see you at MCV ! A Winter and a Summer Card

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with the weather here, which can not yet decide if its going to be warm or cold.... My first card is for this weeks Muse Christmas Vision , where my talented friend Suchi from Suchi's Cardstock is our guest designer. She made a delightful card! Here is Suchi's card: I went with the red and green color scheme, but exchanged the baubles for penguins (Inkadinkadoo). Sponged the sky  and added falling snow with a Simon Says stencil and embossing paste. So how about you playing along, too?  Linking up with: One Layer Christmas card challenge  - anything one layer Christmas ABC Christmas Card challenge - I is for Ink (background made with distress ink) CHNC - anything Christmas Merry Monday - let it snow My second card has a more summery feel and I made it after the CAS Colour and Sketches sketch. It is actually a tricky little sketch. I played around a bit, before I was happy. Bu...

Muse Christmas Vision #35 and CASology

Hi Everyone, I just LOVE being on the DT for Muse Christmas vision ! Makes me get my Christmas cards done real early! This year I will NOT  - repeat will NOT struggle to get those cards done! Perhaps you also want to eliminate stress that way? So easy to play along, especially when the Muse cards are so enticing! This weeks inspiration is from the talented Chris Blagrave . I went with the gold outlines, the green fill and little red accents. Those pretty die cuts are by Memory Box and the sentiment is an ancient, but NBUS Inkadinkadoo stamp. Here is Chriss' pretty card:    ...and mine again. different angle. I was wondering if I should have used textured paper as background....who knows... And now a very different card - can't stay too serious, not with LAUGH as a cue word over at CASology . This is my second card - not often that I feel the "need" to participate twice ;) I used this funny face stamp set by Your Next Stamp, made...
