Make It Monday #126: 3D Die-cut Sentiments

This is the coolest technique! You have to check out Betsy Veldman's video over at Make it Monday ! She made the coolest card!!!! The die she used lend it self a little better to the technique than the one I used here, but it did come out okay I think......although the technique is a little tricky - takes some practice.... There is no stamping on the card - I never made one of those.... I continued the 3-D strip in the background, this added additional dimension. I just love this technique! Materials: Papertrey Hello Die, Memory Box Chloe Stem die, Copics --X-- I hope you are not getting sick and tired looking at my vacation pictures - but if you are, don't scroll down any further :) - there are some more..... This time they all show store signs in my hometown: I hope you enjoyed them, have a great day!

Papertrey Blog hop

Thankfully Papertrey posted the inspiration picture for the blog hop 10 days ago, so I could "prepare" for it.... I am actually leaving today for my 2 week vacation in Germany - visiting my parents and friends and I won't have time to blog and probably no time to comment.... So here is my card: Its hard to photograph gold, so here is a different angle: And a close-up: Materials: Papertrey Dot Spot, Papertrey Hello Die, Martha Stewart punch I hope you like it! I actually sent this card to a blog friend of mine in Germany, who is spending the summer in a Rehab clinic with her severly disabled son and her other two boys. She has a great blog ( Kreativsuechtig - but it is in German)  - if you have time, pay her a visit! I will be back in about 3 weeks after I have caught up with everything back home... Have a great time and see you soon! And before I leave I wanted to thank all of you for visiting my blog and leaving...

Make It Monday #119: Flagged Borders

I am still pressed for time, so I admit - I did not watch the video on Make it Mondays . I pulled out some post it note flags, cut out the triangle and stuck them to the cardstock...... The die cut sentiment is from Papertrey - of course. And why wast those little triangles? I sprinkled them on the card like confetti and adhered them with glossy accents. Ta da - finished! Quick and easy !
