Hi everybody, today I have a card for you, which I made for the Paper Smooches  Picture Perfect challenge. Here is the gorgeous inspiration photo: And here is my card: I just love that little Santa gnome from the Forest Whimsy set! I have used it several times this year for Christmas cards, Click  HERE  and  HERE ,if you want to see them. This card is also going into the Stamps&fun=Creativity challenge - combine two stamps  into the CHNC challenge  extra for December - Anything Christmas and the   regular CHNC challenge - whatever is urgent to make Ribbon Carousel - Anything Goes Its snowing here in New Jersey today - its just beautiful outside with fine, pulvery snow coming down - perhaps we'll be lucky and have a white Christmas this year! Here comes my last minute special  - my card for this week's Paper Smooches challenge: Its a color challenge. The whimsical gnome is holding a bouquet of mushrooms - I think this makes for a fun birthday card I stamped everything - except the tree stump on white paper, heat embossed it, colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it.  I added a twine garland to it. Some blue Stickles on the "i's" of the sentiment.I rounded the corners, it gives the card a nice touch. 

Its a sketch challenge at Paper Smooches this week, which I somewhat loosely interpreted. I am really in love with that little gnome from the Paper Smooches - Forest Whimsy set. It just looks like a funky Santa to me and I think I will use it on many of my Christmas cards.... The sentiment is also Paper Smooches (Christmas sampler) - heat embossed in white and I used a Tim Holtz Sizzix Embossing Folder. The Santa is colored with Copics. I am also linking this card with Addicted to Stamps and More #62 - Make Your Mark and with CHNC - Anything Christmas --X-- The challenge over at My Favorite things is also a sketch challenge: I recently ordered some supplies from them and now I can play! The stamps and dies I used are all MFT/Die-namics and are form the You Move Me set and the new Thank You set. The paper is by Basic Grey - isn't it made for those stamps? Remember that I did some walking through Manhattan last weekend? Well on Sunday my friend set me up and was still home when I already was at the arranged meeting spot. I was furious - I am German and therefore punctuality was drilled into me from day one on..... Having somebody wait for over an hour is just not something I can handle very well.....So when I found out I decided to walk 20 blocks south (and 2 long blocks east) to the Ink Pad - the fantastic stamp store in Greenwich village, to spend my time in a more useful way....Turned out the the Ink Pad does not open before 12pm on a Sunday - what a disappointment! But it was after 12 when my friend actually showed up and since I was waiting nearby we decided to go there after all.  Long story short I did some shopping.... Ever heard of shopping therapy?
