STAMPlorations New Release Day 1

Hi Everyone, today is the first day of STAMPlorations New Release Hop ! Today we are featuring Shery's set  Noteworthy 2  - I just love those different fonts and font sizes!   Artful Flutters I inked up the butterflies with ink daubers real well, so that there was a lot of liquid on them and then smashed them onto my card stock. I then took a straw and blew the ink around a it. After it had dreid I added the sentiment and a a lot of splatters - took that from the still wet stamps. Also added a strip of PP. Go and check out my teamies - they created a lot of fabulous cards! As always we have prizes for you: - 2 winners of $25 gift certificates randomly drawn from comments left the STAMP blog and designer blogs - 1 winner of her choice of 1 stamp set from the new release randomly drawn from our Facebook page - 1 winner of her choice of CUTplorations die from the new release randomly drawn from our Instagram page An...

So Suzy - Live with Flair and Laughter

Hi Everybody! For today's card I have been playing with So Suzy Stamps Chrysanthemums! My supplies: Stamps: Solid and outline whispy Chrysanthemums , Maya Angelou sentiment Curious how I made this card? Spritzed the inked up stamps with water and stamped onto watercolor paper   until I was happy with the look added the sentiment thought it gets a bit lost - probably should have stamped it a bit lower, but I did not want to start over again. (ha ha - fits Darnell's NBUS challenge now - hidden wird, but not the way she intended it..those Chrysanthemums are brand new for me) Stamped part of the sentiment again on black paper and heat embossed it. Mounted it with foam tape. added lots of sequins. Hope you liked this! Happy Stamping and Spritzing! Linking up with: The Card Concept - see picture below Darnells NBUS challenge

Almost not NBUS

Hi Everyone, I am back with a card that I made for Darnell's second week of NBUS challenge - never before used shtuff....and I am not sure what's wrong with me, now that I am looking at this card I have actually used the bird  and the die, but wait - it does qualify - the tiny happy I have not yet used - its from a brand new STAMPlorations set, that will be introduced on February 3rd...... puh, dabbing the sweat of my forehead.... so glad I used that one and not a different happy.... Anyhow the technique for the NBUS challenge is hidden words, although my word is not really hidden. Thankfully the theme is optional... My supplies: Bird - Katzelkraft die - Cutplorations distress inks water brush pens Washi tape Also linking up with: CAS(E) this sketch Seize the Birthday - anything birthday

Washi Tape Fun!

Hi Everyone, I got this Washi tape combo at my Michaels recently and my fingers have been itching to use it! And as luck will have it - The Male Rooms current challenge is all about Washi tape! So this is one super fast card. Took my neon ink daubers fromHero Arts and smashed them onto card stock. After the color dried I added those funny faces from YNS and heat embossed them to make sure the ink doesn't smudge. Added white to the eyes and red to the tongues;  and of course the Washi tape. This also loosely follows the sketch in the current YNS challenge , so I am linking up with them.     Go and get your Washi tape out!

Skipping Stones Design - Sassy Snow

Hi Everyone, I am over at the  Skipping Stones Design blog today with my card, using this adorable set called Sassy Snow This is the complete set! So may possibilities here! I dry embossed my background. stamped the snow woman onto a piece of scrap card stock and colored it with watercolor pens and fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment onto light blue vellum and heat embossed it, so the ink does not smear. attached it and mounted the snow woman with foam tale. Added Stickles to the bigger snowflake and Wink of Stella to the hat and scarf, although it does not show in the picture. See you next month at Skipping Stones Design! Happy Stamping! Muse #200

Hi Everyone, believe it or not, but my card is a CASE of Jenni's card over at the Muse . They are celebrating their 200th challenge! Big congrats are in order! Let me explain how I got there.  You see the horizontal emphasis she created with her flower and the leaves - I did that with the sentiment and the EKG line going across. She has her focal image framed and I did that with the embossed heart die cut. I just did not use PP for my frame, but left it white. I also did multi tone stamping with my heart, using yellow and reds. That by the way is really easy to do with a MISTI. So, whadda ya think - CASE, right? Stamps are by Simon Says Linking up with: CAS on Sunday - hearts Simon Says Wednesday challenge - anything goes The Card Concept - see picture below - CAS Happy CASEing!
