Guest Designing for the 52CCT Challenge

Hi Everybody!   I am honored to be guest designing for the current 52CCT challenge - the theme is nativity. Luckily I had one stamp set to fulfill this requirement! It's an ancient one from Paper Smooches. Confirmed my belief, that you should not get rid of stamp sets, because on day you will need them! I stamped the nativity scene onto scrap paper and colored it with Copics. Used a dies (not sure by whom) to cut the rays around it. Took some patterned paper as underlay and stamped the sentiment. Very simple. Perhaps you have a nativity stamp in your stash and need to ink it up! See you at 52CCT hopefully! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Swanky Snowdudes

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with the 52CCT challenge - the theme is Children's Christmas. I could no pass up this opportunity! I pulled out this ancient Paper Smooches set called Swanky Snowdudes - all the stamps are form this set. I made the background with distress oxide inks and blending brushes. Added a strip of patterned paper at the bottom (Funky fossil Designs). Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! What's Mew?

Hi Everyone, Time to have some fun here! I let myself be inspired by the current AAAchallenge  - see below. I used the fun Splatters stencil  for my rainbow background. Used distress inks for it. Added the cat - an ancient stamp from Paper Smooches. The sentiment is from the same set. super easy to do, Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! East meets West

Hi Everyone, I like to play in challenges that have interesting themes. Besides that, I really need to get into Christmas card making... Lost Coast Designs  with its theme East meets West spoke to me. So I pulled out this ancient die cut from Paper Smooches and sponged a background. Added some stamps form another Paper Smooches set. Hope you liked this. Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Lost Coast Designs - East meets West Watercooler Wednesday - occasions

Stamp Connection #46

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: "Almost Spring and Colored Pencils"    This challenge turned some of my hairs grey.... I was at a total loss of what to do. I finally settled on combining those funky chicken (Sparkle N Sprinkle) with a snowman (Paper Smooches).  The sentiment gave me another headache. I combine d a German (" Timo & Jens" von Dani Peuss) with on from Concord&9th. Added the stitched  border (Cutplorations) and Washi tape. Oh - I colored with Inktense pencils - my favorites! I know I have made better cards. Oh well. It is what it is. At least it's funny, right? Le...

Twofer Challenge #7

Hi Everyone, you knew this was coming, right? My entry for  Twofer Card Challenge #6 . The theme is Beverage. I took an old set by Paper Smooches for those beverage bottles and turned one into an inkwell with some no line stamping technique and that gorgeous feather by Hero Arts. The sentiment is from Papertrey.  For the second card I used almost all the bottles and glasses and the same coloring technique. Added white gel pen accents for reflections. The sentiment is from the same set. Added Bakers twine. Here is a closer view of both cards:  I am so proud - I have not yet missed a single Twofer challenge. Wouldn't want to miss it. So much fun! Happy Stamping! Also linking up with: Twofer challenge #7 - Beverage Crafty Friends Challenge - Food or drink (second card, of course) Cards 4 Galz  - Food or drink (second card)

Less is More #374

Hi Everyone, now here is a challenge for me - Less is More wants us to use our Bits Box items. As far as I am concerned they can have this challenge for the next 500 times. It didn't make a dent into my Bits Box....although all items (except the card base) are form this box. The little pig even was already colored. Even the vellum came from there. I just tore it to size. The cityscape are leftovers from Paper Smooches, as is the pig. The heart on the stick is by Impression Obsession and the sentiment is by MFT. I embossed my card stock with a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder. Rounded one corner.  Perhaps I need to make a second card..... Smile Crocodile

Hi Everyone, I hope this card puts a smile onto your face! As you may know, the current CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers is "SMILE" I had to play along! The crocodile is from Paper Smooches and the smile die is by Lil' Inkers. I colored the croc with Inktense, added Wink of Stella and finally glossy accents for more umpf.... I tried to show the glimmer from the Wink of Stella, but it just doesn't show... Muse Christmas Visions #91 and CASology with Fusion

Hi Everyone, I have a Twofer for you today. First my MCV card: I am not sure if you know, that Muse Christmas Visions has started for this year! Any regrets about starting too late last year with your Christmas card production? If so MCV is for you! Make a card every week and you'll be all set! This time Kimberly Wiener is our Muse and she made a very cute card: How did I get inspired? Well, basically with the cute animals and the peeking idea.  let us know, what inspires you! My supplies: all stamps by Paper Smooches Stickles _______________ My second card: I wanted to get this into the CASology challenge, before it closes. Used of the famous Katzelkraft rats and gave it a mug from CUTplorations . The sentiment is also from CUTplorations. Added some Washi tape and little punched out hearts. The rat is colored with Inktense pencils. You can find it in the us HERE  or HERE  or you get them directly from France HERE...
