Stempel Spass

       Hi Everybody!  I am back with my June calendar page from  Funky Fossil Designs .  I really enjoy my caledar and it's so much fun to design those pages. For this page I used patterned papers from tmy stash. I chose one of the pugs from the set  Pug Life , the palm tree for the set Ditsy Dinos (no longer available) and a toucan from the set Toucan Talk . I colored them a bit with alcohol ink markers. I also drew the air matress around the pug. I cut out everything. I arranged everything on the calendar page.      Hi Everybody!  I am back with my April calendar page from  Funky Fossil Designs .  I really enjoy my caledar and it's so much fun to design those pages. For this page I used one of the papers from the Midnight Garden pad . I chose one of the snails from the set Shellebrate  , colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. I used Happy Mail die set (heavily discounted right now) to cut the paper. Assembled everything. I then used the bees from the Bee Sweet paper pad and punched them out and added them for extra interest.   Hi Everybody!  I am back with a post for  Funky Fossil Designs . If you missed out on the wonderful calendar Funky Fossil had in the store last year - now is your change of grabbing one of the new ones!  They are still available , but last year they sold like hot cakes and were gone in no time!  I used the fun set   We are Family   to create my February page. Since Valentine's day is in February I wanted some love vibes on that page. Clearly the boy fancies the girl....And who doesn't love cats or dogs....I colored with alcohol ink markers. Hi Everybody!  I am back with a post for  Funky Fossil Designs . If you missed out on the wonderful calendar Funky Fossil had in the store last year - now is your change of grabbing one of the new ones! They are still available , but last year they sold like hot cakes and were gone in no time!  I used the delightful set Woodcut Woodlands to create my January page. I wanted a wintery feel to it, so I restrained myself with the colors. Jus a bit of light blue sponging, some grey for the ground and light grey stamping on the left side of my paper. Found it a bit bland, so I added the mushrooms with some thread and also stamped directly onto the calendar. Be careful if you do that, because the paper has a slight gloss to it and the stamps slide easily on the paper. That's why my hedgehog has such a small eye.... Oh well, you live and learn! Hi Everybody!  Since we have already March, I thought I share my calendar page with you. I made the background. First I brushed distress inks onto white card stock. Then I repeatedly stamped the fish skeletons onto my panel. I stamped the cats from the set  Cat Capers  onto scrap paper.  Colored them with Copics and cut them out.   Hi Everybody!  Funky Fossil Designs  is coming out with a new release on Friday. This is day 4 of the stamp reveal. Elena Zinski had been designing stamps for Funky fossil for a while - you are probably familiar with her funky, whimsical style. This release includes several A7 stamps of funky people. I used two of the here, called Sweetheart and Nice Work. I figured they make a great couple for Valentine's Day in February. For my background I  used one of the pages from the new paper pad called Mixed Media Vibes. It is designed by Kim Dellow. I stamped the figures on scrap paper and    colored them with alcohol ink markers. Fuzzy cut them and added them to the background. I also colored in the border around the calendar page with markers. Added the sentiment. This  wonderful desk calendar  is already available in the store - grab it while it lasts and you are going to get a whole year out of enjoyment from it. The empty space fits an A2 car...

I used the one called Peace here.  For my background I  used one of the pages from the  White Winter Magic paper pad . I stamped the figure on scrap paper and    colored it with alcohol ink markers. Fuzzy cut it and added it to the background.  This wonderful desk calendar is already available in the store - grab it while it lasts and you are going to get a whole year out of enjoyment from it.
