Guest Designing for 52CCT - Fireplace

Hi Everyone, today I have the honor to guest design for  52CCT  - the theme is  "Fireplace".  I almost chicked out of this one till I remembered that I have one from Katzelkraft, phew! I stamped the fireplace  (from the set Merry Christmas ) onto scrap paper, colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. Added it to patterned paper ( Brick textures ) with foam tape. Stamped the wreath (also Katzelkraft) and colored it. Added Nuvo drops. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting. Perhaps you will find time to play along! See you at  52CCT . Linking up with:

Topflight Stamps - Katzelkraft Christmas

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is anything goes on the  Topflight blog .  I am now in major Christmas card mode. Don't expect to see much else for the next couple of weeks... I have a shaped card for you today. I don't make those very often... I got the template from my blogging friend Flo from Flos Habseligkeiten . It's quite an easy one. You take a 11x8.5" piece of card stock and cut it lengthwise in half. Then you fold it along the diagonal. and then you fold it again, matching up the long and short ends. I hope that was clear....This creates a nice pocket - you could use it as a gift card or money holder as well. I stamped onto the card. Added some wood patterned paper to the inside. cut  some paper to fit the outer backside and stamped the Santa in his bed onto it. Brushed around in black and blue. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I...

Katzelkraft - Wiener Wonderland

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Continuing with my Christmas card production! I found this sentiment on Pinterest and thought it would go great with that Wiener Christmas dog. I stamped and colored  him with alcohol inks. Cut him out. Stamped some trees in the background and added some snow drifts. Used some Funky fossil Washi tape on the side. Doctored the sentiment to make it fit. The stamps I used are rom the following sets: Santa's Dog - Solo145, Winter Wonderland - KTZ280 (FRANCE) Santa's Dog  - Solo145, Winter Wonderland  - KTZ280   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Guest Designing for 52CCT

Hi Everyone, Merry Christmas to you! I hope you have peaceful and enjoyable Holidays! but in case you want to get some crafting in and work on you Christmas card stash for next year I have something for you! The new challenge at 52CCT , where I am honored to be guest designer for this week. The theme is brads or eyelets - I am sure you have them lying around in your stash...... I used the pretty Christmas tree from Katzelkraft and added star shaped brads and some pearls. I used thin cardboard for the card base to have a bit more heft for the brads. I brushed the background in part with gold delicata ink - gives it a nice shimmer, although it does not show up well in this photo.  Added lots of splatters and painted on more "snow". The sentiment is a die from STAMPlorations - doubled up for more sturdiness. I also added thin copper thread and strung it around the big top brad. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! and don't forget to kink up your card with  52CCT ! Ha...

Katzelkraft Calendar - December

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. And now we have reached the final page of my calendar with my beloved Katzelkraft stamps. I am very happy and proud how the whole thing came together and that I stuck with it. You can see all the previous pages HERE . I first stamped the  Santa and reindeers. I masked them. I then stamped the trees, doing some generational stamping and spritzed the second and third impressions with water before I stamped to get those fluid colors and impressions. I did a bit of light sponging (distress inks) to add some background color.  I did some light brushing on the ground with just the leftover ink that was on my blue brush. In the end I also added white splatters to create a bit of "snow" and make it more wintery.  Lastly I added the little calendar. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Winter Wonderland  - KTZ280,  Noel Keep Calm - KTZ159,   Gangnam Christmas - Solo102...

Topflight Stamps - Christmas Tags

Hi Everyone, This week it's anything goes at the  Topflight blog . I decided to make a few more quick and easy tags. I die cut the tags first and then brushed the background in two different colors (used distress inks). Stamped the numbered border with black Versafine ink and added the decorative stamps in the same color as the background. Added some gems to two of the tags and the little Holly branch to the third.   I heat embossed the sentiment and added it with foam tape. Added a glitzy string from my stash.  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Christmas Chaos ,  Merry Christmas Spiral Borders ,  Christmas Snowflakes Foam tape ,  Blender Brushes ,  Versafine Clair , Diamond Sparkles Gemstones Linking up with: Dragonfly Dreams  - Christmas International Art&Soul  - Christmas Stamping Sensations ...
