Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Happy Bar Mitzvah!

Hi Everyone, a friend of minne ask me to make a Bar Mitzvah card, but then she fell in love with a card I made a little while back, you can see it HERE . And while this was a birthday card, it did not say Bar Mitzvah on it and that for sure is a very special birthday. So I promised I would make her a new card: It is slightly different, but close enough. I actually like my first version better - don't tell her that...and honestly, the kid who will get this one, will not have seen my first card anyhow...I made it the same way as the previous card, so I'll spare you the details. The stencil is by iStencil and you can find it HERE . the sentiment is from Papertrey. And as luck will have it - those colors are next to each other on the color wheel - the requirement for this weeks Less is More challenge . Happy  Birthday LIM! 6 years!!!Yeahh! What an achievement!  Also linking up with: Seize the Birthday - anything birthday

Thank You with Leaves

Hi Everyone, I am taking a break from making DT cards and I am just playing with some of my neglected supplies. I made this card with stamps and dies by Papertrey - the dies are NBUS. They have been collecting dust for at least a year - what a shame! The whole card is made from snippets - an old (dusty) water colored background, that I did not like, but thought it might be useful one day, the leave outlines - leftover strips of watercolor paper and the butterflies - again left overs from a prior card. Of course I am playing in some challenges: Color Throwdown  Inspired By All The Little Things Snippets Playground - use a snippet   Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Note

Hi Everyone, I have been playing around with my alcohol inks. I made this panel using purples an d blue and was not so happy with how it looked, but I thought It would be perfect under that pretty Poppy Stamp die cut. I won that die cut from Poppy Stamps a little while ago by playing in their challenge - THANK YOU Poppy Stamps, I love it! The sentiment is an old set from Papertrey. The paper under it is from one of those envelopes you get in the mail - you may want to check out their insides - sometimes its really pretty! I mounted the sentiment with foam tape. I also added more little butterflies - those are by Memory Box and some sequins. I love how this turned out - alcohol inks = really cool! Muse Christmas Vision #49

Hi Everyone, I am back to stimulate you to pull out your Christmas supplies and play with us at the  Muse Christmas Vision! I made a real simple card using paint chips (courtesy of Home Depot...... ;) Used a triangle die to cut the paint chips. Added the funny face and arm - stamps by YNS (Your Next Stamp). Punched the speech bubble and added the tiny sentiment (Papertrey). I strung some gold thread with sequins and wrapped it around the front tree - needed some ornaments - after all its a Christmas Tree! I mounted it on a wood colored PP with foam tape. Dry embossed the  back panel (Papertrey) Hope to see you at MCV!

Shaker Card

Hi Everyone, is me again, this time with a Shaker card, I made for the 50th birthday of a good friend of mine. I took my Papertrey numbers and die cut them into a shaker card. The sentiment is also by Papertrey. Added some striped paper (an envelope liner - got a lot of mileage out of this one) and an enamel dot. It's Raining!

Hi Everyone, again, I lucked out combining challenges... As soon as I saw the inspiration picture over at Inkspirational I knew I needed to play with them. and then things just fell into place. Less is More wants lots of white space, but no white Just us Girls wants raindrops and Sparkle and Shine offers an umbrella, although theirs has colorful polka dots, oh well, mine does not. Here is that cool photo: I took that cool umbrella stamp from Joy Clair , did some masking and sponging on grey card stock. The raindrops are by Impression obsession and the sentiment is by Papertrey. So, what  do you think - is that a perfect coincidence??? It's not raining now, but its coming - so - keep stamping!

Guest Designer for Uniko

Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be guest designer for the Uniko challenge ! Berverly is just so sweet and her stamps are amazing. Soon I will have some of my own, but for now I have to do with whatever is in my stash. The theme for the current challenge is Easter/Spring!  I pulled out my brand new Papertrey eggs and heat embossed them in white. Sponged an ombre background with distress inks and added the sentiment (also by Papertrey). I die cut this panel with a stitched die from Simon Says. I also added tiny dabs of Stickles to the eggs. I hope you all play along! A Birthday Card for several Challenges

Hi Everyone, I made a birthday card, inspired by several challenges - they are all listed below. The colorful panel I made with watercolors and rubber cement, as the talented Lexi Daly show us in a wonderful video on this week Make it Monday over at Papertrey. I brushed on the rubber cement. the birthday is by Papertrey as well, heat embossed and fuzzy cut. The tiny hearts are a punch by Fiskars. the subtle stripes on the background are an embossing plate also by Papertrey . I love those colors - took them from the current Card Concept! Crafting with a Friend

Hi Everyone, I had such a great afternoon - one of my crafting friends came over and we made cards together! The first two cards my friend designed for me to make. Aren't they pretty? The layered flowers are by Simon Says. The little leaves on the first card are Papertrey as is the sentiment. The sentiment on the second card is I also by Papertrey . I even decorated the inside (was not my idea...) And then I played around with this pretty Altenew set she brought and made another Simon Says card - this time with water color paper. I stamped with distress inks and spritzed them before stamping. The cards I designed for her I'll show you in a later post - gotta keep some goodies to post for those times when I have no or little time to craft... Make it Monday and another iStencil Card

Hi Everyone, I want to share a card with you I made for this week's  Make it Monday.  The theme is "A la carte", you can choose any of the 40 previous posts. Even if you don't want to play along you should just go and check it out for all the wonderful inspiration you fill find there. I settled for  Make It Monday #218: Watercolors with Die-Cut Stencils  by the talented Lexi Daly . You can watch the video - always good to get some tricks and tips. All my supplies are by Papertrey - the scribbles, the die and the sentiment. I added some sequins, matching the water color. I just love this - so simple and pretty! ------------ You may remember the card I made for this weeks Less is More challenge. I kept looking at it, with its drab colors and decided to change that. So I just die cut the thanks in orange and added the orange side strip and now I like it much better! again, the stencil is an iStencil , the thanks is by SSS ...
