My membership has increased again with 5 new members! Wow - this is fantastic! I am so happy all of you joined and I am really happy that who ever joined me in the past has stuck it out with me. This wonderful glass bowl is by Jay Musler , a contemporary American glass artist. I think its amazing - I hope you like it! But now back to card making.....  I have been quite busy lately with work, so not much time for stamping.... but I wanted to make a card for this month Annabelle sketch challenge for quite a while now and I finally succeeded... ...

Just in the nick of time - sneaking into the  Annabelle  April sketch challenge, (see below) using the colors from  colour me.....   I used the Annabelle stamp set Garden Silhouettes, heat embossed them with clear embossing powder and sponged around with distress inks. I mounted the circle on foam tape on textures card stock - using the Papertrey Linen embossing plate. This gives it a nice texture. The sentiment is from the same set - it actually says GIVE thanks, but I cut off the GIVE...., since I needed a Thank you card. I added Stickles to the flowers - they sparkle really nicely! I am also adding this card to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge - the theme is CAS and to CAS on Sunday - Sparkle and Shimmer Snippets Playground - use a snippet - the circle was one

I discovered a new challenge blog called  Steckenpferdchen . The challenge for this month is "Feathers" - Federn. Its a German blog, yeahh! (Dann sollte ich vielleicht auf Deutsch weiterschreiben.....) Since I have this beautiful feather set from Stamplorations, called Trendy Feathers I had to play in this challenge.... All stamp are form this set. The color block I made with a stencil I cut with my rectangular My Favorite Things Dienamics dies and sponged. The little "buttons" are Paper Pandy - colored with Copics - much cheaper than enamel dots and easier to ship..... I combined this with the sketch from   CAS Colours and Sketches  and the colors from Annabelle stamps - I have not played in that challenge in ages.....and since I made myself a stencil for this card, I also will link it with the  Moxie Fab STENCIL challenge  and   Less is more   - Rules of Three recipe - used 3 colors and 3 feathers!       ...
