 Hi Everyone, this card did not come together easily - I think it shows.... I wanted to play along with the AAA birthday challenge - the theme is "Under the Sea" and the Addicted to CAS Challenge - the theme is water. Not sure if this is CAS enough....but what does it matter? This is just for the fun of it all.  I finally get to use that super cute whittle hippo from Memory Box and his little water friends.  I made a water color background with Brusho ultramarine. Die cut all those creatures. Added the sentiment (also Memory box). Splashed water drops onto the background. Had a strip of ancient patterned paper lying around and added it as border to my panel. Put everything together.  Not entirely happy with this, but it is, what it is.... Maybe you like it better..... Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. And since it's almost the middle of August we can start thinking about Halloween, LOL! What inspired this card was the sentiment (Memory Box) that I found in a local craft store on sale and I immediately thought of the bottle set. I filled the bottles with one of the insects and a frog.  I added another insect on top of one of the bottles. I colored everything with water brush pens. The sentiment is heat embossed. The ants are by Cats on Appletrees. Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I needed a winter birthday card and I still had this fun set flying around on my cluttered craft desk, so I choose that little guy with his big scarf. Sherlock Holmes KTZ211 He is such a cutie. I die cut those candles  and lightly colored them. Added Scarfie with foam tape and the little sentiment, which is an ancient wooden stamp by Memory Box.  Hi Everyone, for the Muse Christmas Visions inspiration you need to scroll down. I am playing along with Less is more - the challenge is just to my liking! One layer (my favorite) combined with spots and stripes - can't think of anything better! Made two cards - quite similar. I do like my first one better My supplies: Dotted circle by Altenew, sentiment Lil Inkers and striped star is a Simon Says die cut. I did inlaid die cutting, to make it one layer. For my second card I just rearranged everything. I am sure opinions will vary, which one looks better.... Now onto  Muse Christmas Visions : Kimberley Wiener is our Muse this month! Hi Everyone, I have been soooooo busy lately, but I wanted to play along in the current  Muse Christmas Vision , where Chris Blagrave  made a wonderfully soft Christmas card: You all know this is NOT my strong point, but I think I succeeded this time. I took my favorite little Christmas tree stamp and heat embossed it in white. then I took my sponge tool and sponged without inking up the sponge, just using whatever color was still on there - that's how you do soft, I guess... Added the sentiment (all tamps by STAMPlorations) and the bird (Memory box), which I kept white. and splatters - you gotta have splatters! Hi Everyone, today I want to share a card with the faux paper cutting technique I learned on the CAS #4 class. The fabulous  Debby Hughes  showed us the how to.... I used all sorts of dies for this - mainly by Memory Box. The pink LOVE is by Papertrey - Wet Paint. Its a labor of love to make this, but the result is worth it, right? Looks so elegant! The exciting news are - I now have  100 followers! Now that is a reason to celebrate! I am so happy - I really wanted to achieve this before my 1 year blog anniversary - thank you all 100 of you, to make this happen!!! That is such a big number - at least for me.... I am getting close to be finished with my holiday cards, just a few more to go....The first card is made with stamps from Michaels, the tree is Memory Box and the sentiment is Hero Arts (Merriest Wishes). I colored  the stamps with Prismacolor pencils. The patterned paper is Martha Stewart.  The second card is made with a Hampton art stamp from Michaels, the little snowflakes are Rubber soul and the die cut border is from Memory Box.

Here  I am, totally distressed about my blog pictures not showing....took solace in making this card for the  CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #6 and   colourQ challenge #163 ...and linked it up with  Simon Says ,,,,,, Thanksgiving / Thank You ! :-)  here are the inspiration photos: I really had a hard time whit those colors, struggled with them last night, but then the inspiration hit me. I had this paper bag from Paper Source lying around and low and behold - those are their colors!! Used it for the background  The stamp is Hero Arts Pop Stems, embellished with Stickles and perfect pearls. The die cut is from Memory Box
