Katzelkraft - Sherlock Holmes finds Love

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Since we are getting close to Valentine's Day I thought I make a card for that occasion. I stamped the little Sherlock Holmes on scrap paper, colored him with water brush pens and markers and cut him out.. The lamp I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed it. Did a bit of sponging for the shine. Stamped and heat embossed the litte hearts. Added a red ribbon and the sentiment (Rubbernecker). The stamps I used are from the following sets: Les Pabos-Sherlock Holmes  - KTZ 211,  Wall Lantern  - Solo091  (FRANCE) Sherlock Holmes - KTZ211 ,  Wall Lantern  - Solo091   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. In the meantime I wish you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2021! If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies:  Topflight Stamps ,  Los...

Stamp Connection #45

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time I picked the requirements: "Something new - but purchased a long time ago" otherwise  called ancient NBUS... I have soooooo many unused stamps, it's downright embarrassing...those birds I think I bought on my very first stamp convention I went to - I think they are from Sparkle N Sprinkle, if I remember correctly. I don't think they still carry them. Finally inked up. There is nothing better than a good challenge.... even if it is my own. The road is Washi tape and the sentiment is by Rubbernecker. Colored with Inktense, what else...? Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up wi...

I just love the shimmer! Have fun CASEing this. I can't wait to see what you will come up with! So come and  play along ! Witchy Halloween

Hi Everyone,  I had to play along with Less is More -one of my favorite themes - black and white plus one more color.  In addition I wanted to ink up my new Rubbernecker stamp I won recently at their challenge and I had just received it. Thank you Rubbernecker Stamps I love it! I masked my card base and sponged distress oxide orange  from the bottom up, so I ended up with an ombre pattern. Stamped the rest with my Misti - you really need one here, as you need to do several impressions, to get good, solid ink coverage. Added the sentiment, also by Rubbernecker, but a different set. Also added some white gel pen accents. Have a Fin-tastic Day!

Hi Everyone, a little while ago I won at the Rubbernecker challenge and got myself some wonderful new Rubbernecker stamps. Time to ink them up!!!! Of course I am also playing in the Rubbernecker challenge - the theme is embossed backgrounds. I have a lot of embossing folders, but I am usually at a loss of what to do with them. So, this is in fact a real challenge for me. I used blue vellum and an embossing folder. Colored it a bit with Copics and cut some slits to insert my little Rubbernecker fish . Didn't have a suitable Rubbernecker sentiment, so I used one from Your Next Stamp. Sewed on the vellum/ I also wish you a Fin-tastic day and happy stamping!
