Hi Everyone, a good friend of mine is expecting her first baby and today was her baby shower, so I can show you the card I made for this joyful occasion. I have had this Simon Says Stamp set ( We're Expecting)   forever and sadly had been unused, until now. It is so old, they don't even have it in their store anymore. Not sure why, it' such a terrific set! I colored with Inktense. I fussy cut the bird in the egg and stamped another wing from the mother bird, nestled them both in and glued them in place. I had a left over half strip of Washi tape, which made it on the card and a heart enamel dot. Love this! Too bad most of my friends are older and already have children. Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Inspired by Nature I have this die now for a while (it was a present). I actually don't know the company - let me know, if you do. I used water color paper and colored it with water colors. Added the sentiment (Kaisercraft). So it was pretty easy to do. I needed a card for my neighbor, who just delivered a baby boy. Hi Everyone, I wanted to play along at CASology - the theme is Safari. Pulled out my MFT Jungle Friends and settled for those cute elephants. I bought that set quite a while ago and it was up to now still NBUS.....tsk, tsk, tsk... I found some patterned paper in my stash, die cut the elephants and gave them googly eyes. The sentiment is from Unity stamps - downright ancient, as is the enamel heart.  Gender neutral card, right? Hi Everyone, I am up on the Joy Clair blog today, revisiting that cute baby set Joy Clair has come out with - Oh Baby : I needed a card for a friend of mine who just has delivered twin girls. and this set is just perfect for it! I did some paper piecing for the umbrella and a lot of fuzzy cutting. The babies and the bow are colored with Copics. The background is sponged and I added some sequins.  " H ung" the umbrella from a pink string and popped it up with foam tape. Hope you liked this! Hi Everyone, great news!!!! Our very "own" Deepti Malik from Dee's Art Utopia  ( and also the creator of Dee's Artsy Impression stamp line) delivered a healthy baby boy Siddharth - what joy! We here at STAMPlorations have prepared a little blog hop in honor of the mother and her little bundle of joy! Hi Everyone, its challenge time at  A2Z Scrapbooking ! For this month  we want you to create a shaker card.  I used that cute set  by  Hero Arts Elephant Stamp & Cut DC135   to make this card. I die cut the elephant a second time using fun foam, to give my card dimension and leave space for the sequins. It also give you a nice sturdy layer underneath and does not crumple during shipping. Added a googly eye to the shaker elephant and die cut the panel with a rectangular Simon Says die. The sentiment is by Papertry and the speech bubble is punched with a EK success punch.  So cute - I love it!
